i just got my bocks and ive had a go on them to realises i have the worse sense of balance in the world!!!
how do i fix that?????

To begin with I was hugging walls when I first stood up, after an hour though I was fine walking around outside in the open. Just keep at it!

Don't worry about it, I thought my balance was really bad but I got mine and xmas, just take it slow, and only bock when the weather is good, I'm running and jumping now it's great fun an amazing feeling :)

Nope, despite warnings from me :P
Lol kiwi, dont worry, just practice, dont run before you walk and having people near you can help to. I learnt by holding onto something until I could let go happily. But always had soemthing close for a lil whole.. the I started walking between things ect ect :)

thats the thing!! i cant even walk!!! i can shift my weight on one spot while holding to the wall!! what about it. as soon as i let go i wobble and fall!! lol. i guess its just bruises all the way till i get better.... this is one thing that i wanna get good at!

Practice until you get the hang of it :) also, darfgarf maybe able to help you on weds?

Just keep shifting your weight from foot to foot while holding on to the wall, when you feel comfy it's probably best to have one had on the wall, the other on someone's shoulder and just go from there walking about :)

Has silly as this may sound it's easier to keep move than stand in one place.
When you start to walk on a pair of stilts I always say it feels a little like walking in think wet mud in very heavy boots.
Is hard to leave that lovely wall.
Once you leave it you'll never look back :thumbs:

XD of course i am, but in future ask me in a pm, or hit the surrey springers site, i don't check here that often
...so if you want to have a meet or something wednesday jsut say and i can see who's available, what the weather is like etc
...though i'm short on cash, so you'd have to come down to guildford for anything in the next couple of weeks, not too far
