can you do extreme on pjs, due to comitments we need a male/female, for a big show abroad, 7 days hotel and expences plus no les than £700.00 pay, must be able to do flip and prepared to travel with display team, if this is for you let me know asap, its only a few weeks away,

oh man! .. id love to do it.. i recon i could flip.. would only take me 10 mins with someone to egg me on ;D ..
if i manage to get flips sorted this week .. im up for going!!..i have a very steep learning curve.. and i recon i could crack them by next weekend .. if i really tried my hardest for a place on the team...

and i reckon u could crack ur head open....be carefull...also record it so if u do hurt urself u can show us any cuts or bruises

Haha I'm sure you'll be able to do it man, all the best with finding somewhere to try flips haha!
I'm just waiting and waiting till summer...so I can go flipping in straw!! Hahaha good fun I imagine!
I did a couple of sessions at gynastics, got front flips, and almost backflips.
I should think summer will be one of many changes. Either I'll become cool and learn how to flip, or I'll become a cripple and have to learn how to flip a wheelchair.
Good luck Kiola, I'd offer to do this tour thing but y'know, I have to go break my neck trying flips first!

Hey guys, your enthusiasm is great and I wish you all the luck with getting flips etc, but I must advise U that backflips are DIFFERENT on PJ's and just coz U can on yor feet doesnt mean U can on PJ's!!
I'm developing a harness so I can teach people to flip at Spring Stilt Schools around the country.
Brucy and I tested it out on new years day and its awsome!! It helped improve his normal flips and I know it'll help me backflip very soon.
I recommend EVERYONE gets as much support or matting as poss especially on backflips.
ITS NOT WORTH THE INJURIES even if U can flip, thers loads more to performing than 1 move.
Front flips are just like normal flips on the ground except U look up more and U need to travel forward as in flip over an object.

i have had 5 years of flipping experience and attempted my 1st on my pjs today ;D .. only once.. didnt have time to work on it :/
i got around and landed on the hoofs.. but then lost balance.. keep you al updated ;)

WELL DONE MATE, VERRRYY BRAVE, but please think safety first, i agree with Rico and your safety is more important than anything els, if you get the chance to come to our gym near Leeds brucie rico myself and the guys n gals will give you full suport, Rico travels al the way from Newcastle to train with us sometimes 3 time a week so we know what its like for him, and you live even further away, in the mean time dont rush it, you said two people would be both sides of you, thats good but tell them to wear crash hats if pos; just incase you kick them on the way over, cheesy but best to be safe,

Awesome man! I'm pretty inspired to go flip now actually! I'm making this harness type thing to help me...lol I build lots of random stuff...so yeah, should be handy. Haven't got any mats, so I'm gonna try this harness thing instead.
Good luck with the flips Kiola, I can see you doing them, lol, before now it was probably the only skill you lacked! Haha, now you're unstoppable!

im learning fast tho so ill catch up with all you guys! i been out for my third time nd i can tuc my legs into my arse when at the top of a big jump! also tryed a split kik (both legs sidewards) nd got feet bout 2 foot apart! and landed no problem. i would love sumwhere indoors with mats to train but i dont think the local sports center will let me because the standard soles are marking arnt they? ???

Jack, leisure halls should let you on them though you'll have to pay and you're right about marking the floor but its fine to jump on gym mats.

Would have liked to be at practice Tues night, but i promised ma son i'd play Lego StarWars with him if he was good at his gym class and he's all geared up to whooping ma ass...cant back out now.

Well, the day has come, kiola, uncle matt, and one of k's mates should be on the long drive up north now, they should land at Bradford early eve; il meet them in town then take them to eat, then the gym, wer looking forward to meeting them and wish them a safe drive, Stevie.

Two nights in the gym training hard and having fun, we realy enjoyed playing host to the guys from down south,thanks to the three of you for coming up to see us, kiola has passed with flying colours and will be going to South Africa with us to take part in the MPH Show ( top gear ) flying out 5th feb for a week of hard work oh and of course FUN,
il leave the details of the past few days to guys who traveled hundreds of miles to be with us,Uncle Matt, Jeezbo, and Kiola, i hope they enjoyed it as much as we did, best wishes to you all, Stevie, Brucie, Freek ,Zeb, Reon, Claire, Christie, Cath,some of the team couldnt be at training they send ther best, Rico,David, Mikie,muffin, Jessica,lui.

Hey guys, I dont have time to say much since I've got to get kiola and jeezbo back to bristol for their bus down to plymouth and its blowing like a big blowy thing outside.
We have heaps of video to go through (over an hours worth!) and lots of pics also lol.
I cannt give enough thanks and praise to Steve and everyone else we met. Such a great group of people and I cant wait to come again soon :P
It was the most fun I've had in a long long time and was simply an amazing experience.
If anyone can make the effort/journey to one of the training sessions with these guys then you simply MUST do it, no matter what you're ability level is - the guys will soon fix that!

Jack, the team are based in Bradford which is a little too far north for you but dont worry about that right now. The direction this sport is going and the plans people are talking about for this year then you'll get to meet the guys and have a local facilty near you to train and learn new things. Just keep at it and concentrate on improving yourself.

I Went to Durban and thats suposed to be less dangerous than Johannesburg.
Be careful with being out after dark as well.
We where always home and in bed befor it was dark anyway because we went surfing every morning at six. Durban is the best for surfing.
Keep us posted about whats happening down there.

I used to live in Durban and it is definately safer than Jo'burg. I never had any problems being out after dark but then people generally dont see me as an easy target. Which beach did you surf Mattas?

My friends where mugged when they where out after dark. Nothing bad they just gave them all they had and left. We also lost a few cameras from our bags in the airport.
We all bought surfboards like 8 performers and we where done at new pier surfing every day before work.

Hey.. im back home now.. thought id write a lil review on the trip for you all..
Getting there was fun .. got 30 mins sleep (watching too many films i think) got there and after the 40min drive with some of the rest of the guys in this taxi/coach we arrived at our hotel .. man it was awsome, had a double bed, swimming pool, internet cafe, gym and alot more to discover later. basically all we did all day after the first meeting was sleep by the pool for a few ours until it was our turn to go do our first rehearsals..
the time came for us to jump in a car and from the hotel take the 15min drive to the Coca-Cola dome .. Wasw a massive dome quite like the mellenium one in london.. basically we got our stilts on and walked to were we needed to be.. worked out our ruteen and then went back to the hotel again for a chillout.
Next day (tuesday) did a few runs of the show for propper full lenght rehearsals (about 10 mins work for me and Brucie) .. in between just lazzing about.
The next day we only had one show but rehearsed twice again so we were ready for the first one that night.
thursday we had 2 shows to do in all .. Friday 3, Saturday another 3 shows and then another three on sunday.. that might sound alot.. but because we only had a short part to do at the beginning.. we had soo much free ime before we needed to go back on for the next that it didnt really feel like work at all.
.. did alot of shopping and a lil ice skating to fill the time
well.. there you have it.. mine and brucies time in SA in a few lines. .. you had to be there to enjoy the rest ;)
