I called the Sports Council for Wales (http://www.sports-council-wales.co.uk/developing2.cfm?program_id=40&main_nav=developing&sub_nav=developing) today to see how I go about applying for funding to start up my projumping club. I wasn't after much help but maybe some funding towards hiring the gym hall and getting a few spare pairs of PJ's for new people to come and have a go.....
Sorry, it's not recognised as a sport.
Isn't that being sportsist or something? How can it not be a sport if I am hiring a leisure centre hall for it!
Grrr, Grr and more Grrr

You know what to do about that don't you Uncle Matt....
Get it recognised as a Sport, maybe we should start some sort of campaign?

yeh that wud be a reli good thing! not just for south wales but for the whole of britain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we could start a new thread with people putting they agree (no off topic talk) and send it two other forums..the number would be huge!! theyd have to take us seriously!

im sure it will be recognised asap.. its growing and it is physical..so it has to become a sport sooner rather than later

It's really cool you tryed. Don't give up.

projumping is more of a sport than fox hunting would ever be. Might not be to long as fishing is a sport and all u do there is sit on your arse all day trying to catch a fish.
Trust me gets bloody cold in winter only thing i catch is a cold..lol
