This is the second year we have been asked to join the Spalding Parade. Charlie B, Jester and myself join a group of children dressed as pirates in the parade following Captain Hook on his float.
We where given costumes to wear, Charlie B and Jester where dressed much a like ( father and son nice touch ) I looked like a pirate to start with so I was given a hat and a painted eye patch ( which didn't last in the heat ). Then we where buses to our starting piont.
The parade was smaller and a shorter than last year but we all felt it the next day. They liked us so much they have already asked us back for 2010 !
