So I took apart my stilt that doesnt have the unmovable(basically one of the nuts on my stilts is broken but I can still Bock with it) nut and found an unbearable sight(my avatar describes my reaction)!
The filler round thing had worn the spring cover away and was all the way down to the spring, a swell as that the bushings were smashed!
The main reason I was taking apart my Bocks was to put my new bushings (pro-jump ones), to my horror they were to big for my Powerisers!
When I attempted to put it back tougether with the smashed bushing but with a old bank/credit card as filler to protect the spring I could not fit it properly.
So now unlesss I risk the chace of breaking my spring and damaging my frame I cannot Bock!
:Ccry: :Cconfused: :Cmad:

pictures would be very helpful :P
the holes can't be too different can they? probably just needs a skilled hand and maybe a drill, and the spring can be padded again easily
-
It fits in the holes fine, its just too big lengthwise.

Biohazard, I'm not sure what you mean by they are "too long". The bushings should be fine, I've done Pro-Jump/Riser mashups and they'll need a bit of manpower to get in (Gentle tapping with a hammer works quite well) but you should be able to get them in there with enough space for the roller too. If you genuinely can't, the other option is to file the end of the roller down a little, or get some ProJump rollers.

Can you bring them over this weekend to the meet and bring all the bits
If you can I'll have a look at them and see what I can do

looks like iit should work fine, the tubes should be ,marginally longer than th gap so they rotate properly, i say take teh bits to jason, he sure knows his bushings
(speaking of which i should fix mine at last XD)
-
The bushings I am holding are my old ones, the new ones are WAY to big lengthwise.
Also at this weekends meet can you(Clive) or Jason bring a spare pair of Bocks since I know you guys have plenty of them!
Remember to bring the nut splitter things Jason(I want to finally replace the broken one!).
-
odd...i thought risers had longer tube-like metal bushings, those look like the ones on skyrunners...except in one piece
-
The ones you are talking about are the newer generation of Riser bushings I have very old Risers from 06/07.
-
Clive is the one with the nut spliter and as we are going to his place it should be there
Have you got a replacement nut and bolt for the one that spins Bio
If I can't mend them on the day I'll try to get them done during the week
The only spare bocks I have are the 640's so they might be a bit hard for you but I'll bring them anyway

My wallet is full of nuts :Claugh:, i have two different types of nuts(some of the smaller ones and some of the bigger ones) and I know that they fit fine!

Well having said that Chocl8 I do have a spare set of 115's as well but thought they might be a tad heavy for him :Claugh:
So don't feel to sorry for me :Claugh:
