According to itunes my top 5 songs are......

Crack the shutters-Snow Patrol
Meadowlarks-fleetfoxes
Oliver James-fleetfoxes
Mykonos-fleetfoxes
Colours-hot chip

Thats based on top played. Pretty innacurate for all time fave songs but pretty good for what I like atm lol. So fleetfoxes, I'm big on them.

While we are on the subject of music, coldplay have released a free album of live tracks from some of the gigs last year (fix you was deffo from the one I was at  )

anyhoo, if you like coldplay it can be downloaded free, and legally here:

According to iTunes:
Desolation Row - MCR
Hospital - The Used
Butterflies and Hurricanes - Muse
The Kill - 30 Seconds To Mars
Welcome Home - Coheed and Cambria

But my itunes is on shuffle 24/7 so that's in no way accurate. I would say top 5 are:

I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
Walking in the Sun - Travis
Papercut - Linkin Park
Propane Nightmares - Pendulum
I Still Remember - Block Party

I had an mp3 CD player. Was awesome. Better than mp3 players at the time. You would struggle to get more than 50 mp3's on a player then without spending loads and loads :D

Probably my fav killers track as the lyrics make no damn sense! :D
Although under the gun, and the acoustic version of Sam's town are both brilliant too.

The lyrics are awesome! :D they don't make much sense. It's a progressive track and I just love that. I love so much music tho. But that will always make it on to a playlist  :Cwink:

Not a huge fan of sams town. Album as a whole. Didn't live up to hot fuss for me.

Porcupines "Drown With Me" on the live album "We Lost the Skyline" is incredible!
Like seriously, it makes me go all "ooooooh" inside.
Basically I love the live albums, hit me up on msn if you need a copy or whatever, i have a bit more free time now.

I also love The Killers.
I've been to see them twice, and love brandon. The spirit in the crowd is always amazing, I've been right near the front both times! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/convenient/3299994195/in/set-72157614299212044/)

I got the live album you told me about. It is one of the better live albums. Glad you told me about it ;) i have seen PT live and its awesome. But lmao. Most oc the venues i goto, even if you are at the back you are that close :D but killers are big. Thats pretty awesome!

Saw athlete at the waterfront on monday. Tiny venue. 700 people lol. The uea have some bigger groups and thats like 1500 max. Lilly allen recently, not that i like her :D oh and travis..but lol norwich ftw! Coldplay was pretty special. Awesome croud. I guess thats what you miss at little venues :(

This is a band i've got into recently:

Gutted. Wembley stadium is quite possibly the worst venue I have ever been. I saw coldplay with Jay-Z and Girl's aloud. I won't be going back. Stick to the O2 or anything less. I saw snowpatrol at the royal albert hall a couple of weeks back and that was fantastic. Roundhouse=epic win. Thetford forest during the summer is awesome. UEA is surprsingly pretty good and has some good people on. Cambridge junction. Err...cliffs pavilion-southend.

I'd rather see smaller bands at smaller venues.

very much good, smaller bands are way more fun

UEA is surprsingly pretty good and has some good people on.

is that waterfront, cos i find the venues good and the bands good, but the bar isnt big enough, and you end up missing an entire band if you want a drink

I don't think so. I could be wrong but they are totally different venues. UEA has a mosh pit. Waterfront is all one level. UEA is probably a little bigger too. But not by much.
