The Futurists were ( Im not aware of any left alive ) a bunch of ,very often, violent, predominantly Italian proto fascists ( well some didnt go in for the political stuff) who did good art.
But you dont have to take my word for it. To Mark the centenary of the founding of this Art movement, Tate Modern is putting on a major exhibition of their and related work. http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/futurism/
Now as a good few of you know the South Bank ( were 1 will find the Tate Modern) is home to some excellent 'bock spots'
So Im gonna kill 2 birds with 1 stone and I thought some of you might like to join me for one or both activities.
I plan to visit the Tate from 10-12 , then be outside ( by the wobbly bridge) for some bouncing about at midday.

Might well join you for that one Q

Mate, sounds ace. I'm currently still in Glasto', however so unable to make it. I will be back in London from around the 2nd onwards with a bit of luck, so will likely head to it the following weekend, funds permitting [04/05.07.] ..
Have an awesome time, let me know how it is, I'm intrigued...

Well there's the Cabot Circus / Broadmead area in Bristol. Plenty of big open flat spaces. Just not entirely sure of security issues.
Aside from that, Bristol is architecturally very similar to London, so there are always plenty of decent spots to be found!
