I called the pro jump shop and they DO NOT KNOW!
Erm... Yes they do.
-
thank you both of you!
I will call the lady then and do a trainer to her. I told her the pro jump where made also from the same factory the powerizer was made, but she was denieing say are 2 different think!! :Cerr:
I will call her now to enquire if they do the CARBON version of it, cos in the site what i can see is only the fibre one!
-
I kust spoke to them, they do not do the carbon.
I find this site: http://www.xtremeimportz.com/Powerizers_Parts.html
but it cos 160$ and come from USA, so maybe tax can get involve. they say they are 30% stronger. Do you think guys is worth to spend more money? or shall i get a m100 instead then m90, as I am around 90kg
what u guys think? :Cerr:
-
Who exactly are you phoning? ProJump springs ARE carbon fibre.
Where do you live?
If you are outside the UK, you cannot purchase from xtremeimportz or ProJump.
-
Hi Sprong
I live in UK
I spoke to pro jump and they told me they do NOT have the carbon one, that mean the one in the site are Fiberglass!
-
I am phoning the number in the home page of pro-jump.
If what you are saying is right, ALL the staff that answer the calls need to do a training cos they are just messing people up!

They are a carbonfibre/fibreglass compound mix. I am guessing by your level of English that it is not your first language? Are you sure you're not just misunderstanding them, or vice versa?
Buy a pair of ProJump springs.
Oh, and use the edit button rather than double posting. It's in the top right corner of your post.

Sprong!
I never ever use forum, i think this is the first time i use one in the last 3 years!
yes, english is not my first language and my written is not that good, but I know how to speak and listen as I work in a call center in central of london.
regarding what u saying they are a mix of carbon and fibre, i think you are wrong, cos in this site, USA, you can see they sell 2 different, ONE IN FIBRE, ONE IN CARBON:
http://www.xtremeimportz.com/Powerizers_Parts.html
It is not ME that is misunderstanding, but it is them that need training. Do you wanna for me to call them, record the call, and put it on youtube so you can listen at it? :Cerr:
-
Sprog, he's right, they're out of carbon mix springs. They sent me fibreglass ones for my replacement. Also, MOST of the staff Do Not know these things, they dont know the difference, they just answer the phones and take orders. If you want staff who actually know what they're talking about in relation to the stilts, you'll have to phone up, and ask to be put through to one of the people who work with the stilts, they'll probably put you on hold for a few minutes while they go and find someone, then you can talk to someone who knows their hoof from their foot plate.

Regarding what i'm saying, I've been doing this sport for 3 years and I know pretty much all brands back to front. The carbon springs ARE A COMPOUND RESIN MIX OF CARBON FIBRE AND FIBRE GLASS.
Sprog, he's right, they're out of carbon mix springs. They sent me fibreglass ones for my replacement.
Cheers for letting me know. I guess the fibreglass ones are left-over stock. New Carbons should be in a few weeks then.
-
We do have a lot of new staff coming in over the last few weeks as we are expanding somewhat, so they may still not be fully aware of what Pro-Jump parts are in stock, however 99% of the time there will be someone available who can answer any of your projump related queries.
Remember Pro-Jump is just part of what we do and majority of staff that will answer your call may be specialists in other areas, which is why this forum can be a great asset as majority of the questions usually asked will have been covered on here already.
On the springs...
We have continued to stock both springs so on replacement springs it will be pot luck what you are sent unless you specificially ask for the black or green ones. We have never differenciated between the two on the website becuase we often have a mix of versions been sold at the same time its difficult to keep on top on it without allocating even more space in the warehouse to them, last time I checked the spring levels, we did have good numbers on all carbon spring spares apart from 70's & 80's.
-
oh and just for reference, they probably said rizers are a different brand because there's another brand called poweriSers, over the phone this would sound exactly the same
-
You got told Sprong! :P
-
Okay, Pro-jump aren't entirely out of carbon springs from what you say Naz, but there's still no 70's, and thats where my experience is from xD my point is still valid :D
-
fair enough!
I'll go along with the customer always being right for a few seconds then :P
-
thanks all of you guys for all the help :D
webmaster, sound like you are just defending the customer service that does not really know what they say. when I call and I press option 3, there MUST be a reason for me to do so. Option 3 is infact is the department for pro-jump.
Now you are saying that maybe people that answer at the call are not from the sector. Let be honest, they are just at the phone like robot answering the call and they even know what a pro-jump is!
About they got a mixure of carbon and fibre, it is a bit weirdo ? from what u are saying, i can be lucky and get a carbon, or un lucky and get a fibre glass. ( the difference of price of them is different if you look the site i posted early )
it is like you are ordering a chain in silver and u got one in white gold! :Cerr:
like i said! I will do the order soon, as mine one broke n half and was so embarrassing to fell in the street with everyone looking at me! :Cerr:
guys, i love this face!! :Cerr: :Cerr: :Cerr: !!!

that's odd, when i've called it's always been option 1
and PJ have the best customer support out of any jumping stilts company, and is the best support i've experienced from ANY company
-
@ DG thanks for your comments :)

Its 1 for UKGooddeals, 2 for GhostBikes and 3 for Pro-Jump, however the calls are answered by the same group of people, what happens is, when a customer calls in and chooses an option, it is displayed on the screen so that it can be answered accordingly: ie Thank you for calling Pro-Jump, Alex Speaking, How can I help?
The staff are fully aware of the product and its specification. However the staff are advised to say, that although most springs are interchangable, we only recommend the use of Pro-Jump springs in a Pro-Jump frame simply due to the slight variations of the versions and if you damage the spring trying to fit it to an incompatible frame you will invalidate any warranty, as even with the newer Pro-Jump Spings, if you have an older frame slight modification in needed.
In response to your original question:
Does pro-jump SPRING fit on POWERIZER?
Yes they will fit, however depending on the version you may find that the newer spring is a lot harder to get in and that you need to "shave" some of the rubber buffer that is on the inner side of the metal hoof.

If you are ordering from Pro-Jump we have never differenciated with the springs on price, we have not increased the price on the carbon mix springs or lowered the price of the fibreglass ones. The company that you linked to, talks about a 30% strength increase in the carbon mix springs however there is no factual evidence of this nor is there a real way to test this. With regards to performance, many people find that the carbon springs are a lot more responsive than the older ones, however we still have some customers who prefer the older ones as they find the carbon ones a lot stiffer. If you are ordering from Pro-Jump you could leave a note requesting that you would prefer the carbon mix ones, if they are in stock then you will get these.

You got told Sprong! :P
Yes, apparently he did. Whoever Sprong is :P

Well that's just rubbish then isn't it. Get your act together Naz :P ;D

I'd also like to point out that as a retailer, xtremeimportz have broken a lot of patent rules and regulations with regards to selling to other countries, and their site is quite out of date.

:P as you say Sprong
