I should have crossposted this here earlier, but I announced it on PP last week: http://pp/forum/uk/bbbbbbirmingham_updated_18th_july-t6371.0.html
Basically... get your stilted arse down to Birmingham New Street station for midday on Saturday the 18th July. Meet at the smoking area at the west point on the taxi rank (not the south area).
So far I've got me, Nero, Gladhippo, and hopefully Euan, and Aaron. I'll see if I can get Ninja too.
However, on the same date the YBB have their own meet going which DK will be attending, which takes 1 away from our usual attendance. Let's see if Nero can persuede K-rock to take the day off work to come.
UPDATE: DK tells me the YBB meet was cancelled so he'll be coming.

If this is a sky high meet please can you post in the relevant section,
http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?board=68.0
thank you
-
Groovy i will be there then too :PJ1: :PJR:
-
ill have a word with k-rock, although he only works till like 2pm so he could take his stilts with him and meet us after work.
ill be there to support the fact that a sky high member other than me or k-rock has tried to organise things.
W3bbo thanks for that dude.
also to Naz, maybe it was posted here so people DIDNT think it was a sky high meet, maybe then they would have replied or even came along.

Well technically it is a TSH meet since it falls within our jurisdiction, but we're so disorganised it doesn't benefit anyone from having it hidden away on a group-specific forum. Besides I've got people from outside Birmingham (like Gladhippo and DK).
...speaking of DK, he tells me the Skeggness meet was cancelled so he will be coming on the 18th.
-
Hey guys, if you slot it in the SKY HIGH section every one will still be able to see it, just add a little line at the end saying "Open to all" or "just for TSH members" as I'm changing the format a little shortly and im hoping the local sections will get used a lot more as access to them will be easier :)

Well the BBC says no rain for brum today, ill be out and about from around 12pm with k-rock joining us an hour or two later.
it would be lovely to have some new bockers in the city also, come along and have a laugh

Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed Gym! ^_^ Failing that, get a couple matresses and I'll come to the next jam. =) Hope you're having fun. =)
Oh, and I would hate to ever see "SkyHigh only" tagged onto the end of a post. We're not football teams with our own grounds and secret training regimes. I like to think of bockers as one big happy family...or at least I'd like to see it head that way in the future. I'd like to think that a jam being "open to all" was a given!
Take it easy jumpy people. ^_^

I think we are a big family. Everybody is welcome to other peoples meet ups. But not all what I would call jobs. There have been a couple of occasions that the EA's have had to say EA's only. There are usually events where we get noobs on bocks. We need to be efficient and safe and the best way to do that is on our own. On our own we are only responsible for ourselves, if we have other people we are responsible for both ourselves and others. Since people are generally helping under the host's name it can up the pressure quite a bit. I'm not explaining it well at all but maybe when skyhigh get jobs like that you will understand ;) I think insurance would make it even harder. People would then need to be members to do the jobs and stuff.
I think these are the occasions that Naz was referring too. But anyway, general meets should always be open to all groups :) More the merrier

sky high are a local community group, not a display team, or a bocking school. we get together for the love of bocking, not to make money or to exclude people, we do have our own display team etc, but thats all under a different name at the minute.
we have people of all talent levels so its best that sky high is left for the fun and enjoyment of the sport, the people who then want to take things a little further can then think about joining our monster kick ass display team
-
I think we have the same thing going on but we havnt separated things up. You have sky high for normal meet ups and stuff then the display team for the more formal stuff, unless anybody can join in with the display team stuff then what we do is the same. Normal meets are for everybody then the formal stuff is just for the Eas.
-
yeah pretty much, sky high meets are open to everyone and anyone, the work we dont even bother posting about so nobody can come.
i feel its better to separate things, this way at a normal sky high meet we can be our mental self's, but while working we know its about what we can do, not who we are kinda thing.

monster kick ass display team
Sky High - Kicking ass where need be...just for the fun of it. ^_^
-

Ahhhh balls. Looks like it was a good day. I missed out! Bocked bike riding for the win! ^_^
And I've met those free-runners before too, would have been cool to Jam again.
The weather even looked awesome! Recently, every time it looks like it's gonna
be a sunny day it rains 10 minutes later.
