Right, first off I wanted to say hi, this being my first post and all it seemed suitable :D

Next I wanted to run a few ideas past you all and ask for some advice:
This may sound a little bit weird, but I wanted to mod my stilts Predator style. Basically what I was thinking was 'armour placting' the springs with painted bike tires, painted or dulled into a suitably Predator esque color scheme. Then on top of that put a pair of strings, inter twining and crossing every inch or so, to represent the trophy vest. Last but not least I was thinking about adding trophy hoops onto the calf straps.

Yeah... Sounds weird, but I persoanlly think it would look pretty awesome >.<

Just an idea for the bike tyre, the middle gut plate and groin guard (or something like it):

Any ideas on how I could pull these off? Also, can I superglue nylon string to rubber?

Lots of questions, I know, but I like to know what I'm up against >.<

Okay, some more simple questions:

What kinds of paint would work well on bike tyres?

What kind of glue will work on attaching nylon string to rubber?

erm spray paint anythink not metalic would be better Matt would be the best i think dont know bout glue

well i dont do scarey films  so dunno wot u on about

 un as 4 a 'groin guard' I fear I cant help you as ive never seemed to have had the need....cant honestly say I can remember last time some1/thing wanted to get up2 no good with my groin :Ccry:

Have a look at this thread, Kiwi used some sort of paint on her tyres, if infos not on the thread you can always pm her to see what the paint was and if it stayed on!

Spray paint should work fine, it will dry on nethink i cant promise it wont come off when you fall over its paint will proply stick to rubber better then metal or you could just buy tyres the colour you want them to be

If you use spray paint dont forget to use some primer or it wont stick.
