Hi there
Welcome to the forum :)
For your weight please check out the following thread: http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=1054.0
I'd say go for the 90kg ones as you are around 79kg.
We have a full section devoted to safe use of Jumping stilts (http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?board=12.0) so it may be worth while having a read, the following thread details what we recommend and why http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=1052.0
With flips its all about what kind of background you have, whether you can do flips on the trampoline or not, whether you can do them on your feet. Some people can take months to achieve it yet other people manage it in a couple of weeks. We have a section on tricking (http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?board=91.0) too and there is loads of flip related questions and answers, so please have a look through I'm sure you will find lots of useful info.

Think webby summed that up pretty well. But just to ask/add. how old r u? I suspect nolonger 'still growing'. Cos if you are that might affect your choice. Also it helps when trying to flip if you have help and a gym enviroment. So state where you r and we can say if there is any1 near u

well thanks for the advice, um i am only 15 though, so i might grow some, but also were you put your shoe, can you fit a size 13 british, shoe their, and is their much overhang of the shoe?
-
Probably by the time you have grown enough to have to get new bocks, you would have to get new springs/bocks anyway because the usual lifespan of a pair of bocks is about a year.

Probably because I am still on my first pair of stilts, I am basically killing them since I have a better technique now.
Interesting that Skyrunners would last that long, though I am 55kg on 80kg springs.
-
Bear in mind it also depends on how often people use them. One bockers 1 weeks use could be another bockers months usage and so on.
-
right for all your help, i buy some 90kg ones and some protection and get jumping and try and learn some tricks, thank you all who replied
-
I agree with Naz on that because when i got my PJ's the springs were rock hard... but now they are e
perfect and i can get a high bounce on just one jump

yup, same on my first set of springs... i havnt used my bocks as much since i broke my spring... need to get back on them more often...

Sorry i have another question, how far can i jump in a fowards direction, from standing still then jump in the air then forwards? and how far can i jump with a run up?
-
Id say depending on how good you are at jumping about 1m-4m... if you jump of something you can go very far and if you have enough speed and height.

You should not try it until you are very good with your stilts though.

Jon, Id agree with webby about how long things last. Peeps have had a summer of bocking, so 3 months of summer bocking is gonna be v different to the next 3 months, when things are gonna get colder and wetter and windier and the nites longer.
So I tend to talk about 'hours of use' . I kind of reccon simple bocking, no gym or travelling expences, is about 50-70p an hour before new money needs to be spent ( this includes cost of pads). This is normally hooves, tho for some it may be sooner.
To extend the foot plate, glue or bolt on a piece of 5ply or similar to footplate.
To do flips ID say try and hook up with a group t5hat have experienced bockers and a gym. You can see the list of clubs about, are you near any?
