I got my new stilts last Thursday and went bocking with the JJ's last Saturday,
I was surprised I was compressing my M80's(84kg) pretty well despite me only being 57kg.
I bloody love my new Pro-Jump+'s(well actually the 3pc set, since they were out of stock), they are awesome!
Though I noticed despite taping my springs I was scuffing them, so I decided to make some spring armour.
Due to a lack of tools and general stupidity I ended up spending 8 hours on them...
But I am very happy with the result!
I used some old bike tires we had in the garden and a washing line(the handyman's shop didn't have any nylon cord, but they had a cool yellow washing line which is actually quite strong).
For tools I had kitchen scissors(to cut the tire), a hammer, a nail(to use as a hole punch) and some things I used to cut the washing line.
The reason I never made spring armour for my old stilts was...because I am lazy!
Here are my new stilts and the result:

For some odd reason I couldn't decide which way round I should put them on, in the end I decided to make the tread point up because I want to go up! :Claugh:
