Calling all techno heads!
I've recorded us bocking on the TV onto my Sky+ box, now I want to get it off there onto the PC for utube/forum. How do I do it ???

You need to use a dvd recorder or some other recording device that you can than transfer to the PC.

Take hammer to skybox. Rip out the hardrive. Put it in your comp. Then you will probably find they are some locked format you can't do a lot with :Ctwitcy:
What locky said ;)

Not sure about Sky boxes but some HDD recorders can transfer to USB sticks (my CCTV can) so that might be an option

Wow you lot make it difficult, all you need is a B+r2 cable (I think thats what they call them :Cconfused: ) and then plug that into the back of sky box and then the other end into the pc and it automaticly comes up on your pc with all the saved items... then drag and drop, If i am correct it will be a very high resolution MP4 file :)
The cable is only like £3.23

I was gonna suggest a TV capture card, but a cable sounds much easier :Claugh:

Well where abouts do u live. I'm heading down to wales over the next couple of days. what i can do is pop in with my video capture stuff and record it onto my comp. from there we can then transfer it. etc etc.
That ok with you.

How many people keep their pc next to the sky box though?
