Title: work in surrey
Post by: Locky on January 12, 2010, 02:50:29 PM
Are there many bockers in Surrey, and anyone interested in doing some paid bocking work in the area? I need people with experience more than a need to do flips.

If so, please contact me directly.

I'm definitely interested!

Oh wait...do we need to do flips?
I can do them in the gym but I'm not confident with doing them on concrete yet, although I can perform well in all other area's (especially jumping high and split kicks, etc).
If we don't need to do flips I have good experience in all other areas (especially general knowledge of the sport and bocks them-selves, since I did extra research for my video review which added to my knowledge).

Bio, he said experience was more important than the ability to do flips... you could interpret this as the work requiring both,
but with a ratio in favour of experience. But personally I'd take it to mean that flips are not essential. That means you qualify. I'm guessing that both would just be a happy bonus.

i'm interested in some paid work :-) EVERY EXTRA penny helps!

I been bocking since last summer (think i have a average abilitlity) can't flip yet, though. I have attempted forward flips in the gym @ on of the jj's meets- result of the attempt! was a black eye  :Cswoon: This hasen't put me off learning  and I'm sure they may be a few more black eyes in the future

Why don't we both do it? :Ctongue:
Gonna be hard for me to do it on my own from the sounds of it, though Locky said one important thing is for you to have a spare pair(or more) of stilts.
