Hi i'm not exactly new but i need an important question 2 be answered :) i don't know wether 2 get the original adult M60's or the +'s cause i can see the advantage in the +'s cause it has a calf cuff not a knee bar so i'm guessin it would be easier to walk etc. without the knee bar in the way because when i've tried the original M60's, when i was walking the knee bar just knocked my knees & kinda put me off but the advantage with the knee bar is that when u fall, u can land on the knee bar & not hurt ur knees but u can't with the calf cuffs, so which one...?

Hi Killer,
This should never be seen as an advantage of the kneebar. You should have knee pads to do this job as well as necessary and actually, what you see as an advantage could be a disadvantage on certain falls. A knee bar will not protect you on 99% of falls. Your kneecap is still exposed and landing on the kneebar could actually do some damage. Knee/shin pads are ideal and are the best things to wear. These will protect you from both the kneebar and floor. Sorry to sound like a grump. I hate the idea of people thinking the kneebar is some kind of protection when in fact it could be the opposite. Once that foam compresses you are taking the force..Kneepads work differently by dispersing the energy. That bar will not protect you. Please don't think of that as an advantage. That's not to say there are not any advantages but most of the time it is personal preference and how you feel comfortable.
Cuffs won't make things easier by default. They will probably make things for comfortable and secure, which, indirectly could make things easier and better for you but they are no magic technique fixer. You said kneebars are a bit unsecure. Cuffs will probs make you feel more confident on them because you will have the security. That should make things easier..at least mentally ;)
I think you would benefit form cuffs and a set of knee/shin pads. they help make the cuffs more secure if you got little legs :D
Sorry for the rant!

lol spud :D thanks 4 the advice it deffo helped ;) & i have got skinny legs haha :) so i think i'll go 4 the pro jump +'s :D

I recently had my first try on pro-jumps and tried both the knee bar and calf cuff, I found the calf cuffs far more comfortable and secure feeling. I would certainly say calf cuffs are the right choice.
It is all personal preference though, some people like the knee bars.

Hi Killer,
I agree with Spud.
I first had the knee bar but from some days I replaced it with calf cuffs and I find the most convenient and comfortable.
For safety, I'm using the greatest protection for the knees. :Csmile:

:Claugh: i'll be the exception to the rule then, cuffs are terrible, nothing beats a nicely padded kneebar (though i sacrifice the kneepads in order for it to be nearly perfect, not recommended in the slightest)
kneebars for ever!!! XD

Yeah but you've got wierd knees DG :Claugh:

Oh btw, u know it says on the size guide on the site 2 get a model 10kg more than ur actual weight? I'm 7 stone, 7 lbs so should i go 4 the M60 +'s where my weight range is right in the middle of the reccomendation of 44-53kg or the M70 +'s where i'd be right in the middle of the reccomendation again if i added 10kg?

M60's are good now but you should be putting on weight as you grow so in 12 months time you will be at the top end of weight and probably a good technique which means the M70's would be a better buy.
Well thats my best guess! :Cyes:
