Anybody have any suggestions?
I thought WD-40 but don't want to do anything until I know for sure...

WD40 is a definate No-No, leaves nasty residues and picks up dust easily in my experience. Go for Silicon or Graphite spray, both work really well.

I was thinking that, are they easy to find and everything, like in B&Q?

I was going to post the same link :)

Silicone spray is a lot more effective than WD40. You can buy it most hard wear stores. I personally buy it from the local car boot   Anyway, bocks can get pretty squeaky and sometimes rattly if you don't look after them properly. I probably said it in the above tutorial but it's a good habit to spray all of the joints quite often just to keep them running smoothly. Top fix your squeak spray all the joints before you go out. It won't stop straight away but it should wear in and ease of slowly, you might need to spray some more a little way through your session if they still squeak.

Hope that helps,

It's fine as long as you get the lubricated up soon after, occasional squeaking does happen where parts rub together, it's going to happen at one point or another.

Mine usually squeak for about 30 minutes after spraying them, it usually goes away after another hour or so.

i Have used sexual lube before (only thing available on the job i was doing at the time)
WD40 is a water displacement fluid, its not oil and shouldn't be used like it is, a can of 3in1 is probably the most common spray lube that you could use, or like the people above pointed out a straight silicon lube would also work a treat

I tried or ages to eliminate the creaking in my stilts with no joy...

...until I finally realised it was actually my knees!
