Title: "Safety step" rubber potential armor and sock material

Any ideas for this stuff? Looks pretty viable to be a sock or armor material. One side is already sticky.

I got it an home depot. It was next to Velcro bindings.

It is an American product that can be bought through Amazon for about £5 inc P&P
