Title: tyre sock material??

opened my shed this morning and seen a few sets of spare remote control petrol car tyres :D
they look good for tyre socks and would provide good grip on most surfaces :)
do you think they will be to thin ??
any answers will be apreciated

they should be ok
the only thing i would say about them is that they may wear our very fast
