Title: home made tyre sox keep slipping sideways
Post by: olieviling on January 30, 2011, 01:05:38 PM
I used some bmx tyres and a jubilee clip to attach them got them as tight as i could but they lasted about 10 mins kept slipping sideways. Was gonna use glue or tacks as well any ideas? Thanks i'm new to bocking so pardon my ignorance

Try slitting a whole on the top and bottom half of the tyre on both sides and rin some string of a cable tie through the holes on each side (dont connect tie through all the holes but only those on the same side) and then it should act like a barrier to stop it slipping.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense,  hard to explain.
