Today we were bocking down cardiff bay and a film crew were there filming some promotional stuff for the 2012 olympics and they came over and asked if they could film us and interview us. They spoke to me and one other guy who was with us and then I sort of mentioned how a 13 yr old girl came down today to try out a pair of stilts for her first time so they filmed her and interviewed her too.
Totally cool considering this was not a real meet but just us doing what we do on weekends lol.
No idea when or where its going to be shown (she mentioned june) but she has my details.

How long did they film you for / did you get the channel that they were working for?

They were filming and interviewing for about 30 mins i guess.
It was commissioned by the Olympics (they all had olympic shirts on etc) so I guess its not actually for a tv channel directly but would be made available to tv station by the olympics as soon as they release it.
Hopefully she will email me details but i really have no idea.

Sounds great thou - any coverage is great for the sport overall.
It does seem that once tv companies have the footage they are not so forward in giving the infomation on when we can see on tele
which is a shame :(

kewl locky, gotta wonder why they were in cardiff tho . Are there going to be any events there? i thought it was just london and weymouth?
We just got a word back about the filming we did in poole. they still have not got round to editing it 2 weeks ago! d'oh.
