i need advive to jump high and run fast !!! plz

Take drugs. No wait, DON'T KIDS! When jumping keep your legs pretty straight, it helps. When your running let the spring do the work, push into it and let it push you forward. Also keep practising. Sorry that's all there is to it really.

PRACTISE

Jumping:
Push with your heels.
Bend your knees slightly as you hit the ground (not too much though).
Use your arms (don't flail them around like a prat).
Stop posting stupid questions on here and get out practicing on them. When you get them the springs are hard and need "breaking in", this will take approximately one month, then you'll be bouncing around.
It all relies on technique. PRACTICE. PRACTICE. And wait for it.... PRACTICE!
Running:
Run like normal, just with your legs wider apart.
That's it.

Or on the other hand you could release a pack of hungry lions. You usually get going pretty quickly then.

Whenever your stuck on something or need help, always think of 'practise.' But here's a bit of advice:
Jumping high: Jump normally, and when your about to land/touch the ground, bend your knees, then push out with them quickly and hard. If you know what I'm saying. But don't over-do it, incase you might embarrass yourself into breaking your springs.
Running fast: Run normally, but more carefully until you have the confidence.
And you don't need to release a pack of hungry lions to force yourself. :)

4get about running fast . As 4 getting higher. go to local garden centre un buy a garden cane ---type use to make plants grow str8 up.
lay it across a couple of bricks jump over it find somat higher -jump overit . yep just like high jump--- and it works Athoul has done some vids on it if not on this forum email him for the youtube link

Yeh the main thing I think that progresses you is obviously practice. But I practice with my friend...
If I was on my own there may be some jump that I think about doing but wouldnt do.
However when me and John go out training together we both motivate each other on and if he does the jump or whatever it may be, then I have to do it.
So that is my recommendation, get a partner in crime.
