Hi, where can i get springs for the exo's? I have 70's atm but might get 80's.. The ghostbike shop its empty of pretty much everything. Except some odd hoofs i don't recognise.

Contact PJ direct by phone
They have a lot of stock in but I think the PJ web site is being rebuilt so the GB one is a temp stop gap
Or ask Naz (Webmaster) on here

Yeah i know mate, Mine have lasted for about 6months but im not as mental as you lol. I want to get plenty in before winter.

Im going to try making some springs out of 3mm spring steel rods i think, see what they act like.. Weld them on to mounting plates with the holes in.. Might be very heavy tho.
-
Interesting idea mate
Your hardest bit will be picking the right thickness to match your weight
Unless you know a really good designer that can calculate the exact thickness you will have to experiment and that could get expensive
Also the welding will soften them so they won't be springsteel anymore just steel and that will bend and stay there so you might be better clamping them
Having said all them I will be interested in the results as it could be a really good thing if they don't weigh to much

Ooooo they would be shiny and you'd damage your springs less but i reckon steal springs would be too heavy to be practical otherwise they would of probably been made with steal beforehand :P
but dunno if its thin enough i suppose it might work i think you should try it out and video the first attempt coz there always the best videos :)

Im a supervisor at a spring makers so its no problem, we have big tempering ovens so i can retemper them. Its the weight i see to be the problem..
