Hey,
This is mainly addressed to Naz as I think she organises the youtube account, but I also want to see if anyone else has the same problem as me.
When trying to watch the latest video that projumpforum have uploaded, I get told "This video contains content from EMI, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."
So I cant watch it :(
Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah…. naz assuming this is the juniors video I made, did you change the music?
Anyway this is youtube basically saying you dont own this audio and we are not playing it. In some countries they will, but I dont know how common that is. Maybe XS could check it in the states and some of the other international guys could see. It would be good to know.

works fine here in the states

Doesn't play in Finland either. :Cmad:
It's quite common for You tube to do this, they are a pain in butt! :Cmask:

I have had this with a vid that I put up and while it is a pain I must give You Tube a bit of defense
You Tube are quite happy for the soundtrack to stay on but EMI have a dept that checks every day to stop there music from being used without someone paying
The one I had taken down had a Cheryl Crow track on it and the mail I got said her record company had complained
Yet I have another of her tracks that has been up for 3 years
Some artists seem to encourage people to use their tracks (OK GO for instance) and that is a good move as I have bought 4 of their albums on the basis of seing a You Tube vid (also used many of their tracks on You Tube without problems
So put the blame where it is deserved with EMI (they sue at the drop of a hat)
Stick it back up with an OK GO track :Claugh:

Strange how the music is still on our account, but I dont know if its cuz we're on the youtube revenue sharing malarky…or that I've gone through the "fair use" procedude before to get audio back on our vids.
