And I can use my stits :) so once I have saved up enought money I'm going to buy new ones :) but whick ones should I get ? Powerisers.. Pro jumps .. What are the best kind of stilts :) ?

I have projumps. :£ Simply because they were the cheapest adult stilts I could find for new. But they are an awesome first pair. ^^

I have tried most (If not all) the stilts except one of the most expensive types (and that used an EXO spring)
The EXO's give what I would consider the best performance per £ and the best customer service
I get more height out of my Exo springs than any other I have tried so would recomend them to anyone
Only other way you will get a similar performance is to buy Powerskips and at £800 I think the choice is easy :Claugh:

yeah who would pay £800 for a pair of stilts. that's nuts.
But yes I would really recommend the new pro jumps as they are a great first pair and you can go higher on the pro jumps than the power skips.
Only difference is the spring. the powerskip spring is like a trampoline more.(spring-e-er)
projump spring is tougher and quicker responding. Down side the springs don't last as long. (but pro jump springs are a lot cheaper)
the new projump are the same weight as the powerskips. Longer spring for more height. and cheaper. Hope that answer your question.

I have two very good mates that have Powerskips Joe :Claugh:
And yes they are both mental (you should know your one of them )
Basicaly I agree with all Joe said above the main thing is that the Exo's and Exo Pro's are very good value for money
Just click the link at the top of the main page or phone PJ to get some

hi , my first set was a set of £50 powerizers , as saw mr brucie on the Jonathan ross show on them .
was a great intro as didn't want to spend lots on a pair not to like the sport.
But loved it ! so upgraded to 7s ( 7 leagues ), which were a very robust stilt , and there wasn't much choice at this time ,i had fun with them , thanks richard and wulfgang.
but now as a professional i use powerskips , as they seem to be able to take the abuse of the were and tear , as you need the confidence in your equipment to be able to perform at your best.but very expensive for new starters.
But since i started there has been lots of invasions in stilts , so if you are just starting , you are very lucky, as gym sessions and come and try days just didn't exist.

This is a noobish question but what are 7's? ^^
-
7 League Boots, a different brand of stilt from a German company.
Back in 2006 they were considered (by many, not jut me) to be the grandaddy of stilts but 5 years on they are the same basic design and look rather dated and clunky now compared to the new designs. They're also no longer for sale in the UK and when they were they cost £300 and for that price, I'd rather get 2 pairs of projump exo's.
I used 7's for a few years and loved them. Good strong frames and good strong springs but times have changed now and 7's have not.

Were they not Austrian ?

Hey guys :) soz for acting like a retard :L I don't know that much about the diff kinda stilts yet but ... Are these the exo's u mean ? http://www.ghostbikes.com/categorylist/PowerBock-Shop-Jumping-Stilts-Adult-Pro-Jump-Exo/

They're my stilts ^^
-
Cool :) are they good stilts ?
-
Pound for pound they are the best on the market at the moment
A lot of the really good bockers are now going for them even over Powerskips due to the high cost of everything Powerskip
I find the springs very responsive
Also the springs are good in the higher weights and come with a warrenty (Powerskip won't give a warrenty with springs in my weight)

I wouldn't have anything to compare them with, they are my first stilts and I got them because they were the cheapest. :p
Didn't want to be buying something better/more expensive to break/ damage them whilst learning >.<
-
Jason,
Are the 7's really the best on the market right now for the price? I've heard that the very newest ones aren't nearly as good as they used to be.
-
Jason is referring to the Projump Exos and not the 7 leagues.
I hope he is anyway!
-
Wow. Totally misread that. My fault!
-
Good G*D don't say I said that :Claugh:
I never got on with 7's as they couldn't supply me with a set that didn't bottom straight out of the box (not that I'm fat or anything :Claugh:)
Yes mate I did mean the Exo Pro's

Oops. I have almost brought on the wrath of the all powerful god of bocking. Forgive me Jason!
-
Aw Gawd don't put me on a pedestal that high mate :Claugh:
I am scared of heights
But if you had heard my comment on 7's when I kept bottoming them you would understand my horror :Claugh:

Yeah, I guess 7's aren't your cup of tea. And if you're scared of heights, what are you doing bocking? Haha, that's funny.
