Great video! I only hope someday I can be this good. How and why do you manage without wrist/hand guards?!?

I have used wrist guards for years and have fallen hundreds of times. Its like any sport after falling a lot you learn how to fall.
I normally wear padded fingerless gloves now to stop scratching my hands up. Also with these gloves I can still do handstands.
I still wear knee guards. I would never use my stilts without knee guards. Your knees are normally the first think to hit the ground after your stilts.
I also wear a helmet. I may not hit my head a lot but it only takes that slip or lack of focus.
p.s @ greggles your correct and I should really be using them but makes some trick very hard i.e handstands on bars. But for beginners or people still scared of falling you need to wear them.

How often are you doing handstands on bars?

more vaulting over objects, using my hand for wall spins and palm spins, then there's handstands to back flip and hand plants.
I use my hands a lot really. I guess just not many people do.

Valuting makes more sense, I had a pair of wrist guards similar to these:

This kind of design gives you a lot of hand movement but still offers a lot of protection, worth a look if you don't want to break a wrist :)

Those guards look decent. I think I'm going to buy a pair for myself and put another set in the pile for friends and people I give lessons to use.
