A bit of Hip Hop maybe ?

Or music like :-

never felt pain in my left ear lobe

seriously  if u are correctly padded up  a fall is more likely to be embaressing than painfull. Start flippin  then yes real risks creep in --so find a gym or a nice friendly man ( tho not too friendly  ;D) to lend u his crash mat.  Im spending next weekend with a man with a mat --but im sure it will be all natural and beautiful and nothing to be ashamed of \( tho wouldnt matter if it did ' cos think  cos i think every thing will b on youtub  doh or hurrah     deleate as applicable

Like Q said this has been used a lot so is becoming more than a little tired now. Besides Swebounce use it and I doubt many would manage to look as good as them bouncing to it.......

Just finish these new words to an old song  8)

We'll be singing
When we're springing
We'll be singing

I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down
I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down
I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down

Bocking the day away
Bocking the day away

I do a front flip
I do a back flip
I do a high jump
I do a scissor kick
I sings the songs that remind me of the good times
I sings the songs that remind me of the better times

"Oh Alexander, Alexander, Alex Boeck..."

I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down
I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down
I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down

Bocking the day away
Bocking the day away

I do a front flip
I do a back flip
I do a high jump
I do a scissor kick
I sings the songs that remind me of the good times
I sings the songs that remind me of the better times

"Don't cry for me, next door neighbour..."

I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down
I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down
I get knocked down but I get up again
You're never going to keep me down

We'll be singing
When we're springing
We'll be singing

cool lyrics. How long did it take you to think of?
Title: Re: Music to jump to ?
Post by: Hilly-of-the-Marshes on August 05, 2007, 10:33:37 PM
ok, too much of this is rave/dance/rap (though a bit of rap metal never went amiss) / and poppy rubbish from the charts:-

where's all the metal people?

Where's the ROCK?!?!!?

possibly Guns & Roses, Knockin on Heaven's door (dependin on how high u can jump)

bt personally i dont care about the titles and lyrics and shizz, so long as iv got a gd beat 2 bounce 2 - my favourite being Seether - I'm the one, the lyrics have no relevance to bocking, as its about a girl who's abused by here father (its not a happy song either) but its still good, and the beat coincides perfectly with my bouncing rhythm

The sound of bocks clacking is the only music I need  ;D

But sometimes my screams of pain cut in and that sort of ruins the moment  ;)
Title: Re: Music to jump to ?
Post by: Hilly-of-the-Marshes on August 05, 2007, 11:03:26 PM
maybe 4 u, but 4 us young'uns music can be quite important, nearly vital, to the extent the many are divided by their music taste, a schism that is difficult to repair
Title: Re: Music to jump to ?
Post by: Jason on August 05, 2007, 11:13:54 PM
I like most type of music Hilly although Will Smith is the only rapper I can understand (I'm old and slow ) and the Snowman by Alled Jones puts my teeth on edge

So I guess it will have to be Zep, Floyd or the Eagles for me ( Yes rock and easy listening I must be old ) ;D

Personally I won't bock to music, I find it annoying and offputting. Plus it means having my PSP bouncing around in my pocket. I end up being put off by the beat of the music and generally not concentrating on my bocking as much...

Somehow I can't go mountain biking without music though :D

Now, did he mean "I'm no superman" (Scrubs theme) or did he mean "Superman", the classic disco song. I choose the latter ;)
Title: Re: Music to jump to ?
Post by: Bbmthbloke on August 09, 2007, 12:53:58 PM
sorry i may have created some confusion.  I ment O Superman by laurie Anderson.  Dates  1981 ( john peel championed her). Full version is about 7 min long and a totally epherial experience ( dunno if Id dance to it).  Think it got to No2 in charts

( soz Im in a rush --split shift  then out bocking  or else Id have found a full un proper answer . But she is on tour in europe at mo I believe.

Her first art performance was a symphony --played on car horns

Duests on ice  involved her playing a violin whilst wear skating boots. The boots encased in ice --the performance ended when the ice melted.

I've not tried bocking to music yet, the logic being that I can barely concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other, and having any kind of music will result in me trying walk by putting right leg in front of right leg in front of right leg....

But, I'd imagine you can't go wrong with some Punk-Ska for bouncing along to (this tends to be my answer for most things)
so, try;
Ninja - 7 Seconds of Love
Spacciatore di Cacao - Club 99
Untouchable - Imperial Leisure
Boring Town - Less than Jake
Road Rash - Mad Caddies (rather apt, I feel)
Oi-Skall Mates - Justice Callin 69
Planet Smashers - Missionarys Downfall
Reel Big Fish - Alterative Baby / S.R / Sell Out / Unity
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra - 5 Days of Tequila / Theme From Enter the Dragon

And aside from Punk-Ska;

YoungBlood Brass Band - The Movement
Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal
Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Loop & Loop
Cut Chemist - Big Break
Beat Crusaders - Hit in the USA
Beck - Sexx Laws
Bedouin Soundclash - Gyasi went home

I'm going to stop there, as this is something I could go on for a long time about...
