Post by: Jason on December 08, 2012, 09:42:09 PM
Ok folks

What are you getting for Christmas  :Claugh:

The Wife is treating me to an Android Tablet (so I can keep up with the IT race   )

So there goes the next 2 months learning how much I don't know about it

So what are you getting or hoping  to get

No idea what Emma's getting me but ive asked my parents for a Playstation Vita.

I'd originally asked for a flybar 1200 but they're out of stock everywhere in the UK :(

What kind of tablet did you get? I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and I love it. Getting one for my wife this Christmas since she's been using mine so much.  :Cwink:

I went for an obscure one BitLord

It is called a Fusion5 Premium Plus a company called A1CS sell them on e-bay
I read all the feedback on them and although the one I got is to recent for reviews all the earlier ones they sell got good reviews

It has a 1600ghz dual core processor and a quad core mali graphics processor

Took a bit of a chance but at under £200 and with a 9.7" screen (the new type that you can see from all angles) and it looks just like an I-pad

Been trying it for a few days and gotta admit it is fab so looks like I got lucky and picked the right one

Well folks Christmas came and I got all I wanted and one unexpected supprise present

Bronchitis  :Claugh: yep just my luck laid up in bed no alcohol due to antibiotic and no appetite or ability to taste anything except jelly babies

If I was wearing bocks I would have coughed them up by now  :Claugh: (think about it )

But I still have my sense of humour (the wife seems to be losing hers though  :Claugh:)

Luckily I have the most understanding wife and our 4 bird roast and roast veg has been posponed till the weekend (I won the lottery with her )

So I expect lots of sympathy and as many bad jokes on this thread as you can drag up (to try and make me choke to death )
