When your going somewhere and you don't want to wear your's how do you carry your's.
I've only been away from my front door a couple of time and hold the two together by the spring in one hand ! It work's but ... :-\
What do you do ?
-
over one shoulder holding both knee loops together in one hand
-
i carry them one in each hand by the spring... even carried them on my mountian bike now that was annoying
-
Do you mean to say no one else has servants for this type of thing :o ???
-
I mount them on my ski rucksack tht has starps for off piste ski/boarding, the PJ's fit like a treat into them, you look like you have legs sticking out your arse tho....
-
choc' that reminds me of a story i resently downloaded -----erm but lets not go there
-
oooooooooooooo let's......!
-
Kneebars hooked over each shoulder, so the footplates are either resting on my stomach or i have one on either side of me - this also gives you free hands to carry extra things, or often in my case to put my ticket in the underground train barriers and still get through it before the barriers close on me!
-
I'm working on a way of hooking the foot plate on each shoulder and the kneebar down the back hookeed to a belt.
This mean the hoof is above your head ( in the corner on your eye ) .
The footplate needs to be held apart and down but I think If got it worked out. If it works I'll post picture ... or you'll see me in London ;D
-
Ok my way when not just holding the springs in one hand is....
With the PJ's side by side same way round, tie a piece of string/rope/webbing around the two knee bars next to the knee bar clamp (big block with the calf guard on) to fix one end and hold together. The other end you tie around the feet just below were the foot plate support meets the foot slieve. You can now use it as a shoulder strap or as a back sling. If you really want you can add two clips so you can wrap round and clip the strap to itself in approx 2 sec's per end! ;)
Hope this helps
p.s. check out the how to as I posted there about making ALL WEATHER OFF ROAD FEET! Enjoy ;D

by the knee bar, one on each hand.

At the moment i'll carry them one in each hand by the springs, unless i need my hands, in which case, i'll put the springs over my shoulders, though it can become quite painful, so im going to try making a harness or rig as my school project for design technology in the coming year so that i can wear them on my back as i bike into town.

I'm working on one a bit like that !
Made of two blow up pads a small rod and belt/braces :o

I've made a thing called a bocksack ;D
It is several bits of webbing that fix the PJ's together and turn them into a rucksack with a bag to carry helmet and pads in
It all folds up into a belt pouch about 6" long and 1 1/2" round
I'll be using it at Capital Bocking
Oh and you can carry a small tool kit in it

I use this new invention called "hands". They can grip the Bocks with many variations of pressure and also swing them with glee.

Merlyn, can you expalin your method a bit more, it sounds good but I'm not sure exactly what you're doing... Also which way round are the PJ's, foot plates poking your back or the other way?
Does anyone know where you can get straps like on the knee bars. I think they're great and want to use them to back a shoulder sling for them. If they had that clip thing like on the knee bars too that'd be awesome. Have little loops one the end too. So two straps, both with loops, one with clip thing on. One loops round knee bars and through it's own loop end thun goes down over your shoulder, over end loops round the feet and clips on to the upper strap. The straps'd have to be longer than they are on the knee bars though, at least half a meter each should be good.

DP that reads like either , a crochet pattern or a barn dance caller. As for knee bar straps PINHEAD who makes them will be at the London meet --have a word with him

Thanks.
