electric tape, is that all you put around the pj's, how meny layers?
-
you can put only electical tape around if you so desire but i will be putting 2 layers on mine then a inner tube rapped around then another few layers :)
-
i remeber you saying about the inner tube, can i just put more tabe on?
-
I guess you could, its really cheap aswell, yu can get 6 rolls from a pound shop!
-
yer you can just put tape on :)
-
use duct tape then wrap isolation tape around ur springs do the duct tape in length way strips dwn the springs n then isolation tape to neaten up with can also make spiral patterns etc like red n white
-
yeah duct tape is a good idea, never thought of that. :)
-
yay had a good idea ;D
-
lol
-
Duct tape will leave sticky residue and mark the springs. About 5 layers of Electrical tape will be fine :)
And like ET said... Use the search function in future ::)

o right maybe i wont try duct tape, just lots of hockey/electric tape
-
duct tapes fine u want the springs coverd up and if ur tappin them up no1 will see the underneaths of the tape will they
-
But if you rip any off it will look crap, and when replacing it if it does get damaged the residue will make it hard for a new layer or tape to stick.
-
i first of all did black tape on the springs and took it off to make my bocks white n blue i found wen i took the duct tape off the fresh white stuff stuck on easier because of the residue from the black tape
-
I assume you didn't leave your tape on long then?
Leave it on for over 3 months or so and the residue won't let new tape stick.
-
nah wernt on long rli, i found with duct tape tho it was easier and then i went over it with electircal tape to make it neater the duct tape is just a base layer
-
I wrapped mine in an old motorcycle innertube first and then used gaffer tape so you don't get the residue problem
-
so we have another thread in the wrong section.........
