Was doing a fair/parade in my freinds village at the end of it when everythink was diein down me and 2 freinds were bouncin in the basketball court keeping ourselves to ourselves as much as possible on bocks lol.
Then an old man claiming to be head of the parish council told us that we was damaging the court with the rubber on our feet, when i told him he was wrong and we wouldnt go anywere he started sayin that i wasnt allowed in ther anyway as i didnt live in the village and it was for ther village. was just wondering if anyone else has had experiences like this.

silly old people.... they wish they were young, healthy and cool. They smell funny too.

as im only 18 i jus get the impression that all old people think wer trouble makers its just anoying, after the argueement with him this old man came upto us said that he was fasinated by them and if he was younger would get a set himself. So not all old people just the stupid ones.

:-\ The area of rubber on the hoof is a lot smaller than a normal foot, but the impact on because on the spring would be less ! So things balance !
Has for who is allowed to use the court, it is really up to who owns them even if that's the council. But if your not damaging it then he's just being an old fart.

I think its more a case of people being threatened by something that's new and alien to them.
In most cases politeness gets you a long way and most people are accepting once they realise you are just having fun and not going to harm anyone!

As for damaging the court I don't know but if you go and bock on your lawn(or your parents lawn) expect to do a lot of repairing
My lawn started to look like a battle field after about 6 hrs bocking and it had'nt been wet so the ground was fairly hard

on the subject of 'old and silly', its not been tested in law yet as far as i am aware. But its now a crime to discriminate on the basis of race , disability, sexual orientation, religion and AGE in respect to goods and services. It might be said that this forum is a 'service' and webmaster would be the one 'going down down the river to do time in the big house' think 'prisoner cell block H' --but on pro jumps
Equally now do u think i feel after a fab session bouncing around 4 an afternoon, i quite fancy a pint ---but im stuck looking after the 12 yo Sprog >:(

Now that is a serious problem Q next time make sure you finish the day near a pub with a bear garden (they let youngsters sit in the garden with a coke) might even let you wear bocks in the garden ;)

no the serious prob is when sprog reads this thread, he just loooks 12 but is 18 ;D he is sooo gonna hit me on thursday
