The problem is I have a cheap crappy set of scales. I know I'm somewhere between 72 Kgs and 75 Kgs. I was thinking of getting a pair of M80s but someone on here (I forget who) told me I should go for the M90s. I did go for the M90s and my legs are killing me. It's like trying to bounce on a pair of solid wooden stilts. I can bounce on each one individually but as soon as I bounce on both together I just get pain in my knees and back but no bounce.
Is there anyone else on here that is between 72 and 75 kgs and if so, what weight bocks do you use? The company I got them from have said I can exchange them for the M80 springs but I want to make sure that is the right thing to do. Are they likely to loosen up enough for me to get a good bounce on them or am I just too light for them?
I'd hate to send them back for a pair of M80s only to find I can bottom out the M80s once they have been broken in.
??? ??? ???

Skick with them Kanga Man...
Once your legs get used to them you will get better and the springs will be less stiffer

M80's are for 70-80kg, so you always take the next weight range up, which for you is M90, or 80-90kg. Therefore, you have the right weight range.
You just need to keep practicing on them and once you have your technique right you will get much more bounce out the springs :)

Mine were exactly the same Kanga after a while you just seem to get the hang of it and they loosen up a lot I can now bottom mine out if I bounce hard on one leg whereas at first I could'nt even bend them
-
New springs are hard but will loosen up in time !
This isn't a bad thing has you can learn to balance on them before the spring start to flex and make thing tricky and more fun ;D

I have M60, 17kg more than my weight and i`m bottoming them out and im 12!
-
i've got m70s wen i first got them couldnt move them now im bottomin out both springs with a big of force really gonna get new springs soon

I'm 76 kg and had tried a few others of different weights, but when getting my own, went for the m80's.
Wouldn't worry too much about it Kanga. Know what you mean about feeling like wooden stilts, but as you progress, and the springs soften up a bit, there will be a time where you're bottoming out and you'll be glad you got the ones you did.
Maybe I should have gone for next weight up, but not too bothered as figure its going to be a while before I'm flipping a over t :-\

I am 87kg and have 100's, I bottom them out constantly now. I am going for 120's next but would probably go for a higher rating if it was available.

M90's will be ok but at your weight you will struggle to use the springs, you may even get less height than you do now!
-
yeh but i am 15 so i am gunna get bigger, hevier and my legs are gunna get stronger and more used to the springs so surely the 90s wud be fine too ???
