Right, i have a bad habit of kanga jumping. i can not jump on the spot at all because when i jump, my left leg turns slightly causing me to jump forwards like a kanga jump. How can i get out of this habbit ? its really annoying me as i wanna practise jumping on the spot ! ! !
thanks

try holding on to a fence or lamp post. Not only will you stay in 1 place but you can get higher, See if that helps as a start

concentrate on not letting your leg turn....

I was doing that and the old bag called the cops said I was looking over her fence !
OK I was looking over it ..... It's 7 foot and I'm 7 foot !?

I found that hopping on one foot and then the other helped me to ballance better
It also taught me that I had one leg weaker than the other ( we all have so I'm told ) so if you find that the leg that keeps twisting is the weaker one you know what to do, build the muscles up on that leg (by hopping)

thanks. it is my weaker leg that is twisting, so i will hop on it for a while and then i'll see whats what.

Build it up slowly don't push it hard enough to do damage you might find some squats on a daily basis will help build leg strength (not on your bocks )

Jeezbo had this problem too for a short period and still struggles sometimes.. its because he used to always look to the floor .. you need to stand straight and keep balance too .. keep your heels at same positions .. and concentrate on staying on a spot on the floor .. like in a drawn square etc..
hope i helped..
