is it ok if the rubber has a little rip on it ''springs'', when i have been jumping, where it joins on to the spings from the foot rest, its been rubbing on them and made a little rip, i can't show any pics because i don't have the camara its my nans i use some times.
-
Where ? What sort do you have ?
-
its where i said, and there the m70's
-
it doesn't sound good but without seeing I cant really say. Maybe try being a lot more descriptive. How long is the rip? is it going up and down? or side to side. How deep is it? so on and so forth....

also on the other one its starting to get loose ''rubber'', like a bubble, thats what happened to the one that ripped ''started to bubble then rip''
-
can you go and have a look and see if yours has a bubble there!, i can push mine in and out, its only a small rip behind that joint, im more worried about the bubble, are the things to close to the spring? thats all i can think
-
:o I bit too close, it's like one of those 'What is it pictures'
But if it's the joint that hold the foot rest to the hoof. Then your talking of the rubber ( tube )cover over the spring and it sounds like the white bricks come out ( Theres topics about that ). If that's the case you should sort out the missing bit ! :o
-
whats missing i don't understand

thats the bit im talking about
-
Between the metal tube and the spring there should be a bit of plastic ( The white brick ) which stops the spring rubbing the tube.
These bricks is slipped under the rubber tubing that covers the fibreglass spring. A lot of people have had these fall out, a bit of tape can be used to fix them back.
I can't see the bump of yours so I guess your have fallen out and that could be part of the problem ?
You can just see them in this picture sticking out the bottom

Jason

They will be G2's then.

Sprog
To pick your brains yet again I notice that the tube round the bearings in the pic is ally on these and my G2's have a black plastic tube It is also a lot bigger (Diameter ) than mine hence I mistakenly thought they might be G1's
Are there different designs of the G2's as I can't see how there would be enough room for the packers with the larger tube ?
-
Jason, what I remember of Athoul's G1's is that they had a metal tube, I think FlyingLocust switched to plastic to push costs down further.
As far as I am aware there are no different designs of the G2's, they are all identical. Perhaps they have removed the packers on the G2's.
Hopefully at Capital Bocking people will have G1's and G2's so I can look over them thoroughly and compare differences, rather than going of information from manufacturers and resellers.

Mine came from PJ about 4 months ago and have the plastic tube
Where did you get yours llllshaunllll
What I was thinking was that someone might be selling off old stock of G1's and if so you won't need the packer (also according to popular belief you have better longer lasting feet on them )
