Hold onto a lampost and jog on te spot.
Also, put on all your safety gear ad jump as hard as you can.

cheers is that how you did yours
also how did you make that troc bock thing at the bottom of your text and how do you insert it

I've had mine for about 4 months (with a short brake (my wrist ;D)) I use them between 2 and 5 hours a week (weekend only) they seemed to brake in after about 20 to 30 hrs
I'm 17 stone and I got the heaviest (meant to take up to 18/19 stone )so they took a while to soften
The good news is that they should last longer once they are broken in
I also found that hopping helped for both my ballance and the springs bent more
I could jump higher on one foot than two at one point
So keep bouncing they will get softer

thanks i will try this tomoz as soon as i can if the weather is ok

the quickest way to soften your springs is to hop on one leg. Wear safety gear and dont hold onto anything, you need to learn to balance holding onto things only slows this down. if you fall down it will give you time to practice getting up unaided.

cheers for all the replys they will help

I will bow to ET's superior knowledge on this one (I've seen pics of him bocking and he's much better than me but don't tell him that ;) ;D )
My only defence as to holding on to things is I don't like falling over ( cowardly I know but it hurts sometimes :'( ;D )

It's not just the springs that need softening to get you more height, you need to get your technique right too. Use your arms like you would on a trampoline, push down with your heels and look ahead rather than down. You will get much more height this way.

yeah i used to have a big trampoline could do front and back flips but we had to get rid of it when my lil sis broke her arm on it it looked horrible a z shape ( the arm )
