Title: Stoopid questions
Post by: Taunton on August 14, 2007, 04:26:07 PM
Ok, maybe because it's where I live :P, but I keep getting the usual questions like this;
'Ooh, they're cool, what are they?'
'How much do they cost'
'Aren't they what's on telly'

And then they come out with 'And what are they for?' :(
What are they for? ??? What do you mean what are they for :-\
Still haven't come up with a decent answer as I just trawl off to a 'well they're fun' sort of answer and then they say 'why' ???
AARRGGHH ??? ???

'there is no point to them what soever'  that works quite well.
or 'fun  whats the point of watching football, playing cricket, sk8boarding drinking beer,  its all just a bit of fun'

Oh and if they ask 'how high can you get' i now reply 'depends what drugs my man can get me'

And if asked 'are they fun' rpley 'no magistrate said wear them or 3 months in prison'

They shut peeps up pretty quick ;D

When I was searching to buy some last year I seem to remember that Currys online stocked stilts (very vague memory and they were expensive) it was either them or Dixons

I think they were PJ's but I could be wrong

They ARE Pro-Jumps. Made in the same factory by the same company in china. All they have is a different name stamped on them.

I've noticed that there seems to be three types of shops where you can get PJs. The first and most obvious is jumping stilt distributors like Pro Jump. Then you get shops like Argos where people who have never seen them before can impulse buy them from. And finally you have gadget shops designed for idiot office executives with far too much money to throw around. On iwantoneofthose.com they used to sell the same ones as Pro Jump for about £290. Seems like a rip off to me but then again they also sell a rubber band gattling gun which can fire off 180 rubber bands. All for only £180. Unbelievable. ???

Why?????

:) Well it has more hydrogen atoms in it, doesn't it ???

So that should make it lighter really  ::) but it gets more dense, so its heavier  :)

lol

I looked into geting Hydrogen peroxide for a rocket project a while ago (easier to get 100% pure in the states but hard here ) so I wondered Why you wanted Heavy water ??
