Post by: Locky on August 17, 2007, 12:12:48 PM: Sorry naz for starting a new thread on this but I wanted to make sure it was obvious and easy to find for anyone who has never been to a meet before and wasnt sure who's doing what. Plus since its pretty open to anyone and we have ground crew, its impossible to know how many are coming and who we should be expecting exactly.

So if anyone gets lost, needs info or just wants someone to talk to late on a friday night then my mobile number is 07971 235653 - its on or near me all the time and if I do miss a call please leave a quick message and I'll call you back. Feel free to text me also.
I should be in central london from 10am but there is bound to be a last minute hiccup so this is just an estimate.
The plan is to meet at hyde park at 11am and move on to the route laid out by ET (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=107859014707201396844.00000113856c6f5188125&hl=en&ie=UTF8&z=14&om=1) at around 11.45.
If you are attending but not in the meeting point by 11.30am I would strongly suggest calling me or you may be playing catch up all day.

For those who dont know, myself, Sprog, ET and Bobman have BLUE coloured Capital Bocking shirts (my shirt says Locky and not Uncle Matt). This is to make us easy to find etc should something urgent come up.
Those who are younger bockers and might be considering coming last minute or are still convincing parents then by all means have your parents call me so I can put rest any fears they might have and so I can fill their brains with all new fears. Families, friends and other people who are not on stilts are welcome to come along and we have people between the ages of 14 and 40+ coming along so come on guys this is the first ever WORLD BOCKING DAY....are you really going to miss it?

(we also plan to do a live radiobock show from capital bocking)

Around 3'o'clock I get in bed but I set the alarm for 5:30 but I'll be out of bed at 5 !
I've spent the odd weekend in London. 4 in the morning a funny time quiet but by 7 theres loads of people about.
I once sat in a tent looking outside at an icical forming and a rat running about ( long story ).
