I'd just caught up with you by breaking a hoof and now you have to show off and break another one ;D
On a more serious note I think the main reason mine broke was that the bottom bearings had worn out so mush that every time I jumped the spacer bar was impacting the hoof (made a loud clicking noise )the new ones (with new bronze bearings) are almost silent when I land so it's worth changing the bottom bearings on a regular basis might make the hoofs last longer

yeh :P and ok cheers ill have a look at it tomorrow after silly 8-5:30 shift

how in hell did you manage to brake the hoof :P u stand and a knife or summin :o

erm i bounced like loads for the last like 5 months lol

Nuts thats annoying. From my experience I have found that the version of the hoof you have is weaker than the other tapered version which doesnt have the bend in it where it snapped on yours. It just gradually gets thinner like the spring does. Maybe worth giving those a try?

my very 1st pairs hoof broke in the same place aswell.. definately the join that weakens.,..

Here Lies Hoof number 2,
may this second hoof sleep, bless its soul,
may it rest in peace un-bocked, without the constant
rubbing against path and road...without the fear of
being wrapped in a bike tyre, or mistreated by its owner.
ahmen Hoof
rubber to rubber, hoof to hoof.
haha :P unlucky paul ;D
