The new Pro-Jump Jumping Stilts currently in store have the latest developed and more expensive Glass / Carbon Mix Springs.
As many of you are aware these springs have been in development for some time and up until now we were not satisfied with them and held back from selling them. However because of the positive feedback we have received after extensive tests we are happy to release them to Pro-Jump Customers.
The new stilts purchased from the 25th October 2007 onwards are backed by a new longer guarantee rather than the 28day warranty that Pro-Jump usually offered.
Product Guarantee Info
This product carries a limited guarantee. Any damage caused by natural wear and tear, as well as damage caused due to improper or extreme use or unauthorised repairs will cause the guarantee to be void.
There is a 6 months manufacturer guarantee on the metal frame of your Pro-Jump Jumping Stilts against defects. The actual spring of your Pro-Jump is covered by a 3 months guarantee.
This limited guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, nor does it cover deliberate or accidental damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, storage or use. The limited guarantee will be void if the product is used in a manner other than for recreational use, if they are modified or rented out.
Guarantee Application The guarantee applies only if:
1. If you were sold this product by an authorised Pro-Jump Dealer and you are the original purchaser.
2. If you use the product for your own recreational use
3. If the product has not been brought for resale.
Making A Claim Under The Guarantee
At our own discretion, we will repair or replace all or part of your product if your guarantee claim is successful.
Contact Pro-Jump/UK Good Deals ltd via email, fax or in writing with the following:
•Your Name and contact details.
•A detailed description of the defect with a clear photo.
•A clear copy of your receipt
•A representative will then contact you with further instructions with regards to replacement parts or repairs.

If you are not sure what springs you have the best way is to check the colour!
Fibreglass Springs: These are light green in colour
Glass/Carbon Fibre: These are a dark greyish colour.

Are the spares springs on the website glass/carbon fibre as well now? :)

The 120's are definately Glassfibre but I will make sure on the rest.

just to get it straight 4 lil old old me. These are 'standard' pro jumps with carbons, not the 'elites'?

Sounds good, I'll be getting some new springs sooner than I planned then, lol.

Is there any way to get the carbon fibre ones? (from pro jump i mean) and as just springs? If not i'l get fibreglass, but might be nice...? :)

Unfortunately at the moment we have none of the new springs available as spares, we should do hopefully soon so I'l give you a shout at the time!

i assume that even with these new springs, tape will be needed for extra protection-same as the older ones. right, or are they really a lot stronger?

I'd still recommend taping them, The reason for the taping is more protection when you land badly or drop them rather than how strong the spring itself!

It does say '1 piece' which sound like it mean just one spring not a pair :-\
