Hey.
I'm going to Live 07 this weekend, just wondering since the display team (I think it was them) went to the World scout jamboree, whether they will be going to live 07? Or is anyone else going?

It's not actually the display team its the network scouts guys performing in it!
Becky is there so make sure you look out for her. I was going to go if I managed to get tickets tomorrow but now full of a cold :(

Here's just for you....
I have been working over the last few months recruiting people in Scout Network (18-24) to perform in the 02 Arena (former Millennium Dome) this November in Live07-A Festival of Scouting.
The show is to celebrate 100 years of Scouts and takes place on the 24th November. It is a variety show including items from each section of Scouting, celebrating the acheivements of Scouting and what it has provided the milllions of people who have been members since it began.
As part of the Network item we have 14 people on bocks performing on bocks, Lukey, Superfreak, DangerMike, FlyinMonkey, Jody, Dani, Rachel, Frenchy, Me, Beki, Amy, Fran, Alex and Kayleigh. Which totals up to 6 boys and 8 girls!
We are working with Peter Duncan in the item (he is the Cheif Scout and ex-Blue Peter Presenter)
We had a rehearsal for this yesterday and Saturday - looks like it will be a good show, lots of singing and dancing but also some rather unusual items (like our one really)
The show is open to the public and there are 30,000 seats available over 2 performances (1.30pm and 6.45pm). If anyone wants to come and see it the show is on the 24th November tickets are available here (http://www.scouts.org.uk/live07) :)

These guys have probably finished their first performance - hope it went fantastic for them!

Just got back from London.
Went for the evening performance. I did see them outside but we had only 15 mins before we had to go in. :( It was a great show, but at the beginning when the bit with where all the people were from (who i Think were performing in the show) came up it said Bradford South, but no North! We weren't impressed >:( We had a bradford north person absailing (in the green and blue). The Network bit was gd, but it would be better if Peter Duncan (P.diddy) wasn't in it, as some of ours went to WSJ and he messed up sunrise promise, so they dont take him seriously any more!
I wished I was doing bocking in it.

I think they were recruiting on the forums!
Glad it went well - cant wait for vids / pics if any, I really wanted to go but was under the weather :(
And hopefully there will be another one where you can take part.

The eve performance was loads better! :) you probably saw the stiff and stilted guys outside, rather than us! :) Why you think Peter Duncan had no mike in our item!? ;D

Yeah the crowd were really into it - great atmosphere - finale was awesome - could see people everywhere you looked!!
