I just want to give a little update to you lot :)

We (the RiserRaptors) are still going strong xD and were not all dead. I am in contact with over 20 Bockers in Plymouth and surrounding Towns/Villages and we get out quite a bit. and 15 others that dont do it as much.

Im always out on my stilts In Plymouth and bouncing around with someone different most days, so if anyone here is free and wants to join in our fun/meet up in Plymouth, Let me know. :)

We do regular meets but its very sporadic so I never post them. Just get in contact when YOU want to meet and ill let you know who's available to come out and Play :)

After the ankle incident on the trampoline I had to bolt the walking foot down for a while (no ankle strength)

But last week I got brave and took the bolts out

I forgot how much I prefer the moving foot it is heaven once you get used to it and so much better to trick on and going back to fixed is wierd

All I need to do now is loose 3 stone and I migth make a half decent bocker  :Claugh:

Totally agree with that !! I have been forced onto the Standard plates once or twices since getting the Pro frames and i hated every second of it!

There are a few of us now who prefer this moving footplate and im sure others will follow :)

tryed it once or twice, cant do moving footplate lol. i feel like my foot is not str***ed in, or loose bindings. But one thing i am starting to like is the calf cuffs, they feel better and safer.

I might pop down to plymouth oneday soon as I might be leaving my job soon and have nothing to do. Plus I like showing off at the 'hoe' =)

They are powerskip ones like carls, he got them just after he broke his ankle I think and fitted his shoes on last weekend. Are there other types you can get?

Hi,

I'm looking for a gym to learn to flip in. Are there any places in Plymouth or elsewhere in Devon to do this?

Also just looking for people to go out bocking with - would be good to get some contacts.

Cheers!
Alex

hey, devon bocking is abit slow im afraid, except me and 6 others i have met :p
I live in plymouth and travel all over, if you wanna go for a bock some time im sure i could persuade maybe a few Jurrasic Jumpers and if you wanna learn to flip i think the best gym is Plymouth(by vue cinema or water front)

We once got let into the Sports hall next to central Park.. but that was awhile ago now, best to jsut look up sports halls and see how much they cost.. we quickly left the idea of Gyms because of how expensie they where.. :(

ut we didnt really instigate that thoroughly.

there are a few, but some are away at uni and others are working :(

I Might be down fora week beginning 19th October, so if we start to organise we need to put together a possible date that week for a meet up :)

Hi,

Cheers for all your gym recommendations guys. I'll do some research too and if I find anything cheap I'll let you know.
That ymca place doesn't sound too expensive though so if you're going again it would be great if I could tag along and help bring the individual price down.
Also I'm free 20th-22nd and would be up for a meet in Plymouth, Exeter or wherever.

Cheers!
Alex
