just got my brand new powerskips, haven't used them yet just looked them over before heading back to work.

I am looking at getting some skips in july time, well i got to get a car, a job and maybe even a place, as I plan to move to EA full time

wow i would love to do powerising full time that would be great. maybe oneday hey.
finally landed the barani today on the trampoline so feeling good about that just need a bit of work on the landing lol.
and yes naz the powerskip can next day 12pm (24h after ordering, you lot haven't let me down yet)
still haven't tried them out yet though, hate having a full time job lol.
looks like its going to be Saturday by the time i try them properly.
but all let you all know how i feel about them.

right finally got on them and jumped around for 20 mins in my lunch brake.
what i found out:-
they take ages to put on lol but have to say they are not coming off lol.
the brand new springs are really stiff for me i hope they loosen up a bit soon was sweating buckets.
and the knee bars are a bit high got to put them down a bit tonight.
the springs:-
like i said they are really stiff at the moment haven't warn them in yet so cant say much.
the spring are really responsive compared to any other brand, i shoot back up as soon as i hit the ground it feels weird but in a good way.
any ideas on how long it will take them to wear in, because i cant be sweating like i am at the moment its no fun lol.

ohhh I'm not sure to be honest, Kiola was the other way round, I thought his new 720's would be dead stiff for him but he finds them pretty bouncy.
You're at the very low end of the bracket for 640's, I think it will take a good few sessions before you get used to them and they soften up a notch. But I think by that time you should get used to them enough to start enjoying them properly and your technique should get better becuase of it :thumbs:

It's because you are a wimp. :P Like Naz said, you are right at the bottom of the weight range for extreme user. I believe extreme user means being experienced and be strong. You do have the experience but I believe you are missing the strength. You are lightweight and small in stature (no where bear Ash though, lol). Both Kiola and I have very strong muscles in our legs and backs. Ok, maybe some of my compression comes from my weight.
In a way you have become a little lazy with the "lighter" strength springs you have been using.

Some times you have to be cruel to be kind. Although it helps that you know the person or they can take offence. he knows I love him, so he won't try to beat me up.

There are always divisions, like boxing:-
Heavy weight :- Me (although officially I'm super hevy weight)
Medium weight:- Kiola
Fly weight:- Joe

brand new springs tryed them for 20mins, it took me about 40-1hour to soften my t-rexs out.
so these skips will do the same. they were getting a little easyer at the end of the 20 mins jumping on them like a crazy man so they will.
and when they do soften up ill show you all whos the wimp, you all will bow down and beg for me to teach you my ways!

well finally softened the skips up today with tundrah and 2 other people. all i can say is i love the hight im getting now.
tundrah said i was getting his head hight!? but you can ask him about that.
so the gym session tomorrow will be great, ill take some pictures of how high im getting on my backflips and compare it with kiolas =P
but if tundrah gets this message im sure he will tell you about how i was getting on.
on the downside i lost my wallet when running back to my car it fell out my bag =( so spend the afternoon phoning the police station, and canceling all my cards. great, got to get a new diving liecence too now. :-[ :-[

Ahh sorry to hear bout your wallet, I thought I lost mine once, then found it not before cancelling everything, such a nightmare :( but upside is your new cards will be nice and shiny and if you didnt like the old mug shot on the licence you get to change it :thumbs:
With regards to the powerskips, it sounds fantastic and great to hear your enjoying them, :)
if your getting tundraH's hieght, thats amazing, wow that would be great to see on the pics / vid look forward to it.

well looks like i got a busy though weekends now.
3rd (tomorrow) got a 2 hour gym session to test my new skips at flipping and might try some new things to show kiola.
9th heading down to plymouth to meet kiola and the riser raptors and bringing tundrah with me.
16th-17 look like im heading up to cardiff to meet the welshys for the first time. should be good.
so somewhere in there i think ill have a picture or video of me doing flips and stuff on the new skips. ;D

lol no faith, what happened to 'you can do it people'. ok yes theres a high chance i will land on my head. but if i feel the chance of me making it is over 50% im going for it!
