Thought I'd start a thread for all the Vids any of you Banned want to post and start it with last sundays meet with Clive and me

Clive has only had Bocks since Christmas so I think you'll agree he's doing well and as for my Bocking style (well just don't laugh to hard  :biggrin:)

One thing for sure we have fun every meet

I have been trying to stay upright all week Carma ever since I saw the vid (good incentive when I realized that I look like Nelly the elephant from the back  :biggrin: ) and I've found it a lot easier jumping so videoing yourself really helps

I will come down during the Easter Hols, I am also back in Essex, just need to know where the nearest station is, unless I bring the Verso T3, unless I plan to buy the Verso SR or T180

Clive is doing really well on the jumping, had mine the same length of time and cannot seem to control my bouncing when getting above 1ft off the ground.

Yes

Just cannot keep a controlled shape either going up or down so i look a right pratt. The landing tends to catapult me off in a slightly sideways direction to the scene of the accident !!!

Will need to keep trying but feel really uncomfortable bouncing

Dont worry think it will make a big difference when you are with other bockers and they are helping you with your technique!

Nice to see you putting it on video Jason. I certainly didn't laugh, too busy thinking "Oh, so that's what I look like" and I have a very similar style (if it can be called 'style').

Yes we were rather cruel to her weren't we Hex but your right she no longer sticks he B*m out and seems to be getting good height
Now if I can just follow her lead

There are several stations near by Sx and one of us can pick you up the only thing I will warn you is that I have to vanish at about 2-30 on sundays and we don't normally start till 12 so its a short bock if your coming a long way I could start a lot earlier as I normally am around from about 10 ish so that would make it a bit longer I'll have a chat with clive and we might stretch the day when you come down

Charlie B don't worry I had the same problem just do lots of small bounces and eventually they start getting higher but it is a worry when you don't know where your gonna land  :biggrin:

Yep I tend to land on that area a lot I think it's the heaviest part of me so gets to the floor 1st  :haha:

I went base over apex again on monday left the wrist sore for a few days (it had been kicked by a pony on sunday as well)

The daft thing was I found a set of steps that are perfect to jump off (3 steps platform 3 steps platform 3 steps) I had started jumping off the bottom platform and worked my way up to the top managed all three (three separate jumps not all at once  :biggrin:) landed perfectly jogged about 20 ft and went over on a patch of moss  :banghead: :haha:

S*ds law at work on overtime  :biggrin:

Ps wife says I gotta try to be safe for a few days no silly stuff (still allowed on the stilts but no silly stuff  :biggrin:)

We were going to do a meet on sunday Sx but due to me being under the weather with a bad cold (Flu really but the girls will all disagree  :biggrin:) we have canceled

Might do something on monday but it will be last min and depends on how I feel (may just stay in bed)

Glad you enjoyed it mate we'll do it again soon as I feel well maybe go to a nearby town if the weather is good there are some good bits in Staines
