right guys i want to make a website again :biggrin:
but i need ideas and influences if you was looking for a bocking website what would you want to see like modz? or videos or pictures or genral information what is the best thing also will be good place for me to advertise the stilts and compotitions i also have my own private radio i can put it like bock FM :P
so please if you could post ANY idea for a general information site for bocking and some videos andpictures to put in will be cool :thumbs:

mmm I'd say why not make it about you, your bocking vids and your pics, mods you have done etc and your radio and your group. That way its personal and therefore unique, you could then have a links section where you link to other places as well :thumbs:

If you want to do a slot on radiobock you're more than welcome. We've got the re-launch happening this saturday night.
It would be very easy to incorporate it onto any website.

its a play on current times but the web address' are taken mostly, lol ibock.co.uk is owned by uk good deals (aka pro jump) but i think .org, .biz, .info and .me.uk are all available
purplecloud have .me.uk at £7.50 for 2 years
grab it though it was a suggestion for your site.

hmm.... lol projump taxed it. you can be clever with the endings...anybody heard of the band lemon jelly. they did an album called lemonjelly.ky and they actually got the site www.lemonjelly.ky. that is cool. It was from some little country..Maybe somewhere there is a possible bocking one???

Hi Aiden
A thought I have been knocking around for a while is a Bocking Map Site
The basic idea is that you get people from an area to ring all the good bits on a map of their local area and then a discription of what is there and maybe a picture or two
Like
Steps (large, small, multiple)
Open paved areas
Areas with stone benches, blocks, anything to jump on/off
Lack of security guards (or nice ones)
This would help anyone that comes to an area to enjoy it and we could find the best areas to visit
When we went to Southend we saw some good bocking but I'm sure there was more and a map would have made the day flow
Just a thought but feel free to run with it if you like it

hmmm could of images of the area then like pin point an area and put in description of whats were and stuff yer jason i like your idea it will help alot of people and the hole forum can help wne they go to a meet or anything they can look out for these things and pm them to me jason ur another one of these geniuses :banana:

I've never used Dreamweaver, good old retro Notepad is my editor, :banana:

The map site idea its great, could become an excellent resource, I loved what carma did when they were doing the tour have a look here http://www.invictabockerz.co.uk/events.html when you click on one of the Z's it opens another page and gives some locations they were going to bock at but would work great if you got like an insiders guide to local bocking, so like an expanded version.

It is good. I am not surprised you dont want to give it up. Could you maybe do a deal with aiden? Maybe lend it to him or work on it together or do you have plans for it?

it directs to the projump site and I have something in mind for it but theres ibock.me.uk available First year £ 2.24, second year £ 2.99 from 1and1.co.uk if it helps :) But it depends really on what website he goes on to develop. If its a bocking map then something like bockmap.co.uk is available (First year £ 2.24, second year £ 2.99(Min. 2 years) @ 1and1.co.uk)

woop ive gone for a new name but im not announcing it until ive got my domain name then no-one can steal it :) also i need a logo that has yellow greena nd blakc in it has to be them colours as they stand out from my website XD

everyone ideas have been taken into account and i love the map idea and i am now working with a friend to create a flash map which i can put location onto and it will be interactive also will have a section you can log into the map to put in new palces but all members will have to be accepted by me so no one can put in stupid places XD

and cheers will be very helpful if when you go ona trip get a map of the area u want to and circle the spots that are good and say wots good about them in bullet points will help me out alot :P
oh and if anyone reads this and has any good bocking pictures and wants to be posted up on the website post them here plzz :) :biggrin: more the mereyer also if you want to put ur name on it and mabe a description you can do :)

Also the site should be up and running soon it wont be completely donew because i need the map and some cool bocking pictures also me and my mate are making the bock rap were using the noises from our stilts to make a song :biggrin:

I can try..I can grab audio from video so yes..problem is my video camera makes horrible zzz noise...maybe I could do it on a stills cam vid vid function..either way will do aiden..oh dear out come the old bocks lol.

lol it dosent have to be long just bounce on them mabe and make them squeak me and my mate are going to make the other noises like the clips making a Ziiiip noise and stuff i will post it on here asoon as its done :thumbs:

coool aidan, theres a typo towards the end of the spring mod wrie up and a photo that dont seem to show up. just to let you know, oh and im using opera as a browser.
great write up on the home page though and the best of luck with the rap and everything else.
as i said i will sort out some photos and map images of great bocking areas as soon as we hit them next.

I like it Aidan your gonna be famous
The layout is easy to use and looks good just one thing
You might want to put a pic of some spectacular bocking on the home page to drag newbies in as lots of text tends to put newcomers off before they start
And a thought for the map section people could post a pic of themselves jumping the good bit and you could link it to the area on the map
nothing like a good pic to get the want to visit going

in the map i could try and intergrate the pics so when you hover over a area it gies a description and sumone bocking off the good bits??
would be harder but it is doable and your right about the first bit but its still in making will have lots of good piccys and videos
