Well, I think I better let you all know.

For those of you who don't know, I am a MASSIVE (That's a huge understatement) AC/DC fan. And I have just entered an extremely exclusive AC/DC competition to win one of 150 places at their video shoot in London on Friday. Now, I MAY stand a good chance of winning due to living Local and being a naturally huge fan. But, the problem is they would need me there from 3pm to 12 midnight on the 15th. Meaning I miss my lift to CB and I wouldn't have enough money for a train.

I am letting you all know as I will be informed on Thursday evening wether I win or not. I won't have any chance to let you all know. So, I will either be in Cardiff on Saturday morning meaning I didn't win but get an awesome weekend of Bocking. Or I won't be, meaning my greatest dream comes true and I would have lived it the night before.

I am excited and sad all at the same time.

Either way, it's a win win situation

I'm actually gutted, there are a couple of people who know just how excited I am about CB. And I am worried I might drive myself more into debt just to still get there on Saturday!

sometimes these videos are edited carma...
i was in a duran duran video years ago,the reflex..
it was re filmed due to a c*ck up somewhere,so i got lucky.. the crowd was that big you cant see anyone, even though you know where you stood....the band where there, but from someone who has been in a signed band years back, then lost the deal later sadly lol i know.... (fear of silence)fly on your bedroom wall..enhanced...
im the bass player andy marsham. (long hair then)..check u-tube..... it was wolverhampton civic...in my rock days lol . anyhows...
most video shoots are edited and the members of the band are not there..you move and dance to recordings. and told what to do and when.....it depends what type of video it is really...if a live performance then yes they should be there...but hey, in some cases, they perform a gig afterwards...so either way it would be good...one of my faves... good luck

If their past record is anything to go by, they will be there. Not to mention, there are only 300 people at the venue. 150 winners with 1 guest each. So it would make perfect sense them being there. If people who know AC/DC think back to MoneyTalks and the video that went with that, they will remember the small, but very genuine crowd.

I really do not expect them to be there. But hell, I love AC/DC so much, it's an honour to be part of their video wether they are there or not. I will not be disappointed if they arn't but overwhelmed if they really do perform. The way the editors of the competion have worded it, it seems they want a genuine crowd there. And to have a genuine crowd, they are going to need a genuine AC/DC. I couldn't imagine us lot cheering, headbanging and screaming for AC/DC when its just played to us from a recording.

Not to mention, the fact that it is such an intimate gig, and that they haven't done an album for 8 years suggests they may be doing this properly. They arn't the kind of band to not show.

it would suggest summat a little different going on to...
maybe even mingling with them...acting, who knows....
so i reckon they would perform or mime at least...
but you may dance to recordings also....or whatever they ask
of you...as i said, either way it would be cool...
the tatt should get you in.... tis a good un too ....

Well, I had to send a photo and write one sentance saying why I am the biggest Acca Dacca fan, Here's what wrote, and the photo I sent.

"I'm a BallBreaker, Soul Stripper, Boogie WoMEN and a down right dirty Rocker, all thanks to AC/DC!' (Or something like that, for those who don't know Ball Breaker, Soul Stripper, Boogie Man, and Rocker are all AC/DC songs)

And the photo I sent them, baring in mind after reading the Terms and Conditions I noticed that one of the requirements was that the winners MUST be able to dress for an AC/DC gig, so I realised that the photo is more than likely to prove you have the look!

we released 2 songs off that album, loved every minute of it....
mingling with the stars was just a buzz...

What matters is as many bobckers as possiblr have as much fun as possiblr.  Concern and interest, if wanted should be for those who really want to come but for various menas cant make it ( work, no money, parents saying no  or dont know about it)

Yesterday i was out with 2 guys going 2 not  and 1 mm Ill see but doubt it( he was on 1st try on borrowed stilts --but he 16 yo and really good parkour{did a 'grounded' back flip infront of us all--so we know we r gonna reall start h8ing him soon) OO un we lost/never met with 1 who wants but cant afford to go and another that is going.

So dont think about the teases  think about those that wanna go but cant   and think about the slow torture they r gonna have to go thru with allthe pix and vids that r gonna be posted

Well, just to rectify, the reason for my post was to politely inform people that I may or may not be there, if said people would have read the first post properly they would have seen that I will not have a chance to inform people that I will not be coming, and I do not want to let those down who are expecting me to be there, that's just rude.

Friday morning is a little to late to tell my friends 'Oh actually, I won't be there after all'. But that is when I will know.

So those who manipulated my words, sod ya, I am not AT ALL important to this event. But I will not leave my friends in the lurch.

There, simple enough :p

I really don't know why some people think I hold my self in high asteam, and should perhaps look at the wider picture. Everything I do is for other people, not for me. So I ask people to get this idea out their heads. If I wanted attention and praise I have much more talented things I can show you, but I choose not to. Naz is aware what they are and could probably back them up. But alas, I do not care what people think of me, I have never been 'popular', nor do I ever want to be. I just HATE having these apparently labels put onto me. Try to inform people so I don't let them down, and I get labelled concieted... Great.

well since another thread has been bent and twisted all out of proportions and since Q has bought in personalities I'm going to say Carma, it wouldnt be the same without you. Sure if you were someone to stand on the edges and not do much then I might not notice you but some how I dont think thats you :P

Thanks Locky, coming from you that actually means a great deal, but anything I do do is for the sport. :)

Even though I am extremely grateful for that comment, I ask people not to post anything related to what I do or don't do for the event/sport, on here just incase it comes across as if I was fishing ;)
