I'm Dave, 28 and living in Guildford. I think I first saw PJ style boots on Tomorrows World about 5 years ago and thought they looked fantastic. A couple of days ago I randomly saw an advert for PJ boots online, came to the site and now I'm very, very tempted to get a pair!

I weigh around 12.5 - 13 stone (it varies) and i beleive i have the 7-9 stone boots, so im bottoming out all the time, i havent tried to do any flips yet as i beleive i wont make it. im from Norwich but im based near Oxford.

Hi im Luke, im 17 and live in southampton, got my powerizers on tuesday 16th oct, been practicing walkin round the house and running on the spot prob had a max of a couple of hours on them. havent been out yet as i wanted to get walking about freely sorted first, which im suprised happened extremely fast lol.

yes it was stiff and stilted, they were the ones that put me onto this site. they have been really helpful. I also got their special necker ..the orange and yellow one.. for walking on their really tall stilts. :laugh:

Hi Spud... Yeah, met stiff'n'stilted a few times but they wouldn't let me have a go. Saw the Network bocking at Live07 and just had to have some - they arrived three days later :D but stashed behind imaginary bars ;)

Hey Guys, am new here (really? never!) Me and my girlfriend bought one another PJs for each others birthdays this year. Thought i would join the forum and see if i couldn't meet some of you. I had my second go today, still not fallen off or broken anything, so reckon i'm doing pretty well so far! Really enjoying it too. Would be interested to meet anybody nearby who could help us get better at this, we are both in Grantham, about half an hour East of Nottingham.
How do you ever learn to do the more adventurous things, like the flips? It seems to me that unless you get it right the first time you try it you are going to end up with a broken neck!

Neil and wife Clare from Sandbach Cheshire, not even got our pro-jumpers yet and once Ive sussed the sizing options 85kg and 60kg (Dark knight has been approached already for advice and we will dive-in when better informed). We dual paraglide and I paramotor all over the place, competing or doing distances. My eldest daughter has just got her pair of er kangeroo shoes and is loving them in a manic bouncy way, I see her going far! We will just go for the workout, fun, lots of padding option and see how long we last. Im an upholsterer so i will cushion my ass. Im 48 and Clare is 39 I think. detail detail bah! broke my ankle a few yrs back and leg exercise is very difficult when it gives me jip so Im hoping for low impact leg work that will be SO much fun I will die happy after half an hour, ok 10 mins.

Hi People, I'm Stu from Pembrokeshire in Wales. I'm 28 and a very big kid, love to have fun and this seems like a good place to be. I have never seen anyone in Pembrokeshire on these Powerbocking Stilts. Was watching the TV tonight and saw some people having great fun on them. I came straight onto the internet, started typing and came across PRO-JUMP. Have just ordered some PJ's online and can't wait til they arrive :) Have I done the right thing ??? Am I crazy to have bought some without even trying before I buy ??? I've seen a few posts from people who live in Swansea, but is there anyone in Pembrokeshire who does this ?? Is there anything I should know or do before I get on my new PJ's, any advice or help would be great.

My PJ's arrive today and I have just been out on them for about an hour. I can walk and jog already :) Think it's gonna take a bit of time before I can run and jump. Didin't manage to walk up the steps in the car park, so I'm glad that I bought wrist protectors otherwise I would be bleeding over this keyboard. Really glad that I bought them.

Thought i had better introduce myself, Im Bob I live in sible hedingham,in essex.Got my pjs in December and love them.My first meet was the Southend Invicta meet in March,(i have so much to learn lol).The gym session in the evening was good too,(Home of Jasons flip training head plant hehe). I havent been on my pjs since then though,Trapped a nerve in my back ouch! Hope to be back on them soon though. Is there anyone else in North Essex area?

Yeah like you said, great fun, I was doing well until my mate asked me to race him (him being on foot), I was feeling c*cky after just getting to the running stage that afternoon, so off we went, about 100 meters later and I'm flying through the air after tripping over my feet (had yet to learn that you need to lift your legs higher before bringing them forward to compensate for the bounce), I was wearing pads but not being used to them I didn't think to land on them which would probably have been painless, instead i went with my insticts and rolled into a ball, fell on my side and broke a rib :D bugger!
i had a similar fall a while ago, trying to go as fst as possible then caught the springs together. i was doing about 20mph and went into a breakfall/slide.
luckily I was wearing a protection top as sold by projump, it took the hit on my back. The t shirt lookedf like I had been shot with a shot gun but I walked away with nothing hurt or broken.
also what part of UK are you from as there might be a few people around near you

It will unfortunatly be monday you get your bocks :( but that gives you all weekend to get some stuff for essential mods like tape for the springs and a tire to make some tire socks out of. Both of those are pretty important :thumbs:
Only other thing is be safe :thumbs: a bit of safety gear is essential (wristguards)

I've already got a big roll of black tape sitting around (don't ask why) so I'll get them all nicely taped up before I head out. :tape: I think I'm going to follow DK's suggestion about clingfilming them first, so I can preserve the shiny newness a bit! :D
Safety-wise I ordered the knee and elbow pads and the wristguards too so hopefully won't cripple myself too badly when i inevitably go flying... which I will try and get filmed, if my friend's not laughing too much to hold cam steady :)

Hi everyone! Im william, i have had my pro jumps 1 month now and they are so much fun!! Running is so the best thing to do the rush you get is amazing!! I found jumping slightly harder then expected but practice makes perfect!! Im just outsied Gloucester so if there is any1 near give me a shout!!

heyWelcome to the forum :thumbs: Good advice..check out the mods section, tape up your springs and think about making some tire socks :) as for learning just get on them as much as you can! As DK said, meets are the best place to learn so if you let us know where roughly you are we might be able to hook you up with some local bockers :)

I'm new here, hence this post. I've been looking over the forum reading through as many threads as possible for an hour or so and have decided that it looks like a great community which I'd be more than happy to be a part of.
I got my pair of exo's yesterday and spent just over an hour learning to walk and jog slowly, when a bolt thread on my left toe plate decided to shred it's self causing me to fall on a hard pathway :P
One slightly aching hip and a couple of polite emails to customer support at ghostbikes later, a replacement part will soon be on it's way and I'll be running all over town!
Looking forward to many happy conversations here :)
