i will be coming even if i hav to scrounge the cash ( shouldent hav to coz my b day is like the week before lol )
just need to find somewhere to stay the night an get home the next day coz i sooooooooooo want to hav a few drinks lol

KOOL ... well like i said on the other capital bocking thread, if anyone needs a place to crash, i have floor space and blow up beds and duvets/sleepingbags ....space is limited tho.. :)

na its ok if you cant stay ..... it would prob be better and more comfortable for you guys to sleep in more comfortable circumstances....... just let me know as i think my place is nearly 'booked up' with people, and if you cant come, i can let others in the spare room. :P

This is worrying as CB is on the 22nd and I know that the ones who are staying at mine will be comming on the friday..... i suggest u lot look more into this and see if you can get around the train strike. :(

Don't panic too much yet bexx. These are the last of the planned strikes. There are some thurs and friday of this week, Mid august (again thurs and friday) and then the one you have mentioned, which is also on the thursday too.
There were some strikes planned a while back and they never happened. I do think these are more likely to happen because National express met some terms before the last strike but I think people maybe pushing their luck now.
Anyway, don't panic. See what happens at the end of this week. National express don't want any strikes ;)
Just another point. Some of the early trains on sat mornings have been canceled on the strike weeks (early ones) and there will probably be a fair amount of disruption.
I might have a word with my aunt closer to the time and see what the inside word is if people are still worried.

Ok so- Im guessing you lot are comming round on the friday night... i dont mind just as long as you turn up after half 5 as im at work untill then. X
Ive been sorting out getting to CB on the sat and this is the route we'll use (tube wise)
ok so the route is definite The victoria line has part closers, so its best to get the train to london liverpool street
then jump onto the central line (west) to marble arch.

Planning on getting the train at 9:54 to arrive at london liverpool st at 10:28. Then jump on the central line tube to marble arch. should be at marble arch for 11 or just before.
Lookin at setting off from my place at 9:15 ...it doesnt take that long to walk to the station, only about 20mins at a fast pace... im just thinkin about gettin people out the door and buying tickets etc.

OK! Price wise Its lookin good peeps!!!! -- sooo --- there are 9 of us sleepin - kool - and looks like Bob and the girls might be joining us on the morning too. Soo that makes a total of 12 ppl going to the train station. If we were each paying separatly, It would insanly cost £12.50 each!!!! OMG ... BUT ... with a group of 4 - itll cost £25.00 -- so itll cost £6.25 each ....WIN!!!! sooo ... theres 3 groups of 4s ...

Looks like I am coming to CB, but I might need someone to scoot me around in a car where I don't use the train.
Since I live in London I will be able to just crash at my place, but it will take me 1 and a half hours to get to Hyde Park, I guess I will try and sort my stilts out.

drinkin circle for the win
basicly all sit in a circle and play side games u have to do things like I Have Never, The Thumb Master and stuff will explain in more details but these two are as follows
I Have Never - in a circle one person says i have never eg been bockin everyone who has done that thing has a drink its a really good game and you find out so much about each other and it obviously can get quite rude the other thing is everyone has the ability to ask for more info on a certain thing about what someones done so if say i asked i have never done the dirty in an alley ;) n sum1 doesnt drink and your suprised about who it is you can ask for more info every1 can refuse to answer once only tho so use it carefully i imagine laura will be pretty drunk very quickly with the naughty stuff lol
Thumb Master - One person is the thumb master the idea of this game is when they put there thumb on the table every1 else has to do it last person to has to drink its good after awhile as people forget about this game and get caught out easyily
i know i said two games but i hought of more i have had a pretty hectic drinkin life lol
Save the Queen - old game drop a coin into someones drink they have to down it as quick as poss to stop the queen drownin
I Am Sparticus - one person is Sparticus everytime they shout or more (say this phrase every1 drinks)
will give more ideas if asked but will explain a few more on the night if we play the cirlce ring of fire is a messy game as the drink tastes nasty and u get smashed within a half hour and then have a very messy bathroom and one very drunk prsn wldnt recomend it till last game if at all lol

if your playin the drinkin circle you wont have a choice but to not drink alot as u cnt b excluded and even if you were on soft drinks you have to join in an b honest about everythink that comes up so doesnt bother me anyone not drinkin but all have to join in just as much

i can say ive bocked drunk quite a few times now, only thing thts ever gone wrong was coventry and 5 hours in hospital, but meh its another story to tell the grandkids huh?
these days if im out bocking and start drinking though theres a direct correlation (just for sprog) between how many ive had and how motivated i am to bock. but i have done many a drunken backflip now and they still land the same sober or drunk.
