Well I know some people about 20 (well, my brothers friends) that live there, but I guess the only club is the Dolphin. Fortunately, since we go to the same hotel every year (its fantastic), we are friends with the manager. We were on his boat one year, and borrowed his kayaks another. (which, with the amount of times we've been there, we basically paid for)

well there deffo r young peeps in Sidmouth, i know cos my sister used to teech there. & my family hols used to be there too.

The park up by Jacobs ladder may well b worth a look. ive previously suggested to the JJ's learning a Morris Dance or two ..and invading the folk festival there :Claugh:

If you go on pp.com  and do a search on 'wonderboy' and 'poweriserkid' you will find in them a couple of south devon bockers ...but dunno if they r still active.

Id prob be quite interested in a Bank hol Monday meet in Sidmouth.

Post by: Spud on August 24, 2009, 08:56:52 AM
Welcome to the forum :)

You might want to try and make a cover instead of taping like that. It will probably take some battering and although your spring will be ok.. Your tape might look a little worse for wear after a short amount of time.. You can then tape over that but its probs a lot of effort to do that design if if it will get battered. Stripes with electrical tape over gaffa is easy tho but a cover is probably better than that if you can sew :D

if you get a knee brace it adds comfort, will be alot cheaper 2
Not if you buy a decent set :Claugh:

I'd advise making your own knee straps, which you can learn how to do here:
http://www.stiltmodz.com/tut_kneestraps.html
and see how you go with those, then make a decision after that.

Not massively, I get 3 week holidays every christmas, summer and easter, and most of my course is spent on placement in Dorset so it's not too bad.

I demand photos! :P
