hey guys whats the best way to protect the spring. As mine are now getting chuncks missing and was thinking is there a way to stop this

Na, tyre armour is so much better, and quicker to do

or in your case lynch not removing the plastic in the first place. Electric tape is ok but u need about 4 to 5 layers, bike tyres is another fairly easy option after that get creative. Old jeans or old wet suit, wet suit might be my next option

gaffer would work and if it doesnt its cause your not usin enuf

I used Gorilla Tape for mine, it's almost water resistant, sticks like hell and doesn't wear down easily. Plus it's THICK.

i used tyre armour attached on with tie-wraps, its works a treat! although i have seen a picture somewhere where instead on covering the entire spring they only covered the middle bit, which makes sense as thats the only part thats likely to hit the ground, they also secured it on with tape, it looked pretty decent i thought
