Title: EVO binding thread
Post by: Bbmthbloke on March 14, 2010, 09:25:16 AM
NO not a load of posts.

The screw that holds the wide pad on the rear binding to the thin strap has dropped out.

Does any1 know/ could find out what gauge the thread is, then I can pop round B&Q and try and get a replacement

As I see. I usually go to an independent (more helpful and knowledgeable I find) show them what I need and see if they can find it. Thats what I expected you to do lol

Just take the bolt to B&Q and ask someone Q, they should be able to help you. If they can't, try one of the smaller independent stores around Bournemouth.

I've got a set of the PJ black and silver ones here Q but not sure if they are the ones you mean

Can you stick a pic up on here so I can see which screw you mean and what the bindings are like

It will be a metric thread and most are 4, 5 or 6mm so if it is the same as mine I can give you a set of measurements but wheather B&Q staff will understand them is another matter  :Claugh:

Oops double post  :Claugh:

Just measured it Q and the one on the PJ black and silver ones is a 6mm thread and it's 10mm long

The head is what they call a Gutter Bolt (it's used on cast iron gutters )

So if it's the same you can get them at any good hardwear store
