Hi all
How many times have you all gone out on your Jumping Stilts and been asked loads of questions about what they are, where they from, how much etc?
We now have in stock Pro-Jump Info cards which are standard postcard sized - giving general information on Powerbocking / Pro-Jumping and where to buy Pro-Jumps.

we gave out about 50 leaflets in pompy today, i say we but i mean o2. :p :P

I used the postcards the other day to take into sports centres so that they could see what we were talking about, and they agreed to let us use the hall and crash mats!!

1 thing to remember when handing them out --maybe best not to give them out in 'private' shopping centre and malls. Jax mentioned that a load were given out in Portsmouth. I have to say the duty manager watched us on cctv in 1 such place and came and had a sharp word with us ( and also said if we bounced we would be thrown out :'().
So 'public' areas OK but i fear as we get more popular some people may get the 'health and safty' or 'its odd lets ban it' bug for no good reason. And in the absence of a good reason may start leaning on us for 'unliecenced' leafletting
Sorry to give that lil downer. But in private areas, it seems WE have to prove we are safe. In public areas it is for the Council or THEM to prove we are unsafe

Your right
I think its important for "Bockers" to act responsible as otherwise the whole bocking community will receive the same kind of bad press that skateboarders, mini moto riders etc got.
Regarding handing out cards - they best to give out when people ask you about what your bocks are as it gives all the relevant info rather than handing them out to "joe public" as chances are they will just be discarded and they will think its too "in your face" as well.
Remember we want people to be encouraged into the sport rather than making people feel insecure around bockers

I think it's a great idea to hand out cards, so many people ask me where to get them.

We gave postcards out along the seafront when i was at home over easter, and we only gave them to people who seemed genuinely interested - still gave out quite a few

I must have given out about 20 by now. I don't give them to people I don't want to get PJ's or people who I don't think really want to buy them. It's great to have something to help explain what PJ's are.

I'm going to chase that up for you in the morning - they do go out with Royal Mail so its not the usual next day service you can usually expect from us ;)

The metroploitan Police said that the meet was fine as long as it wasn't a protest or a commercial venture. Handing out of flyers for a retailer makes the meet a commercial interest. These flyers are an advert for a product so please dont hand them out at the meet. If you guys want to print out the web address for projump and hand that out feel free, but no product advertising please.

Best thing to do is when you are ordering the Pro-Jumps theres a slot to place additional info in there just request some Pro-Jump info cards so that they can be sent out the same time!

I have been thinking of giving a pro jump info card to the local police station in essex, as I am getting stopped by them most of the time, just to see what they can do, and sure they may like a set or two, to give them a advantage!! lol :nana:

I'm set to reorder some more Pro-Jump info cards 2moro night / Monday morning, and I'm thinking of maybe changing some of the pictures on the front if I have time, if any one fancies having themselves on there please email me a high quality picture (minimum 1000px's wide) of you doing some stunt, it can't have a watermark over it and needs to be a close up so it comes up well, can be anything from running to vaults or split kicks, the format and everything else will remain the same so needs to fit in with the current style.
We sent out 30,000+ of these last year to give you an idea of how many people are likely to see you in action :) Pictures need to be emailed in to admin@projump.co.uk If I use your pic I'll email or pm you to let you know.

Thanks to everyone that sent in their pics, I changed the design to include 8 pics insted of the usual 4, sorry to anyone who didn't get on this time but there's always a next time and I will give more notice in the future... promise!

I keep getting asked "where I got those jumpy things from" more and more at the moment. :)
I'm ordering some Kneepads later. Could you stick a bundle of these in the post with them? :)

There's one thing missing from the card ?
Space for you to write a contact address !?
I've handed a couple out only to be asked for MY contact address !
Don't everyone would want to put in on the card but if would be an idea for the next time :thumbs:
